Are there books or articles you suggest to start learning business concepts in general and for photographers specifically? Background-I've been a pediatric nurse for almost 30 years (left healthcare recently and pray to never return). So, when I say I really am not business savvy, it's true. But, I am motivated to learn.
I would listen to the Think Media Podcast. It's a good one. Also Smart Passive Income Podcast is good. I would recommend focusing on business education not photography. I'm working on a course right now for photography business and how to start one so keep an eye out.
Great content David. Thinking about investing in a camera for Landscape photography as a beginner, want to use it both for photography and 4k video as well. What do you recommend Aps-c or Full Frame? I'm conflicted because I know eventually I'd go Full Frame even if I bought an Aps-c camera at first. Thank you.
@@DavidJohnstonPhoto well if I wanted to upgrade from a potential Aps-c beginner then to Full Frame after I'm more experienced with photography. Idk just was thinking that way. Full Frame beginning is a lot to budget at 1st but I guess if I knew I'd get there then don't waste money on Aps-c at first?
If that’s the way you know you want to go then do full frame right away. Choose which one based on the amount of lenses are available for it. Sony E mounts have a lot.
