Hi Will. Is there any possibility you could do a tutorial on how some artists perform live sets straight from the ableton console, stream live etc and still have that mixed and mastered effect from track to track? There must be some interesting bus processing there that allows for real time creativity while maintaining the mix. Would be interesting to hear your take on this! Thanks
Thank you for watching and supporting the channel, Jenny! I am stoked my videos are useful. Is there anything specific you'd like me to cover in the future?
This is just exactly what I need. Great way to learn about all aspects of music production. I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into this though you make it seem effortless. Thank you for helping me get more into EDM making, so fun.
A great tutorial. I really enjoyed trying something different and expanding on using recordings as atmosphere (which is something I already do a lot in my own music). Thanks again for another top notch tutorial.
Heey, as it's been the second year since I_O's passing I been looking up some video's about him and found out you did a video on his style. I loved that video and it sounded amazing. It actually reminded me a lot of Adam K & Soha's style too. I'd love you to make a video on their style.
THIS IS AWESOME! YOU MAKE IT SEEM SO SIMPLE AND STRICTLY CREATIVE! I LOVE THAT. I ALWAYS GET STUCK IN THE MIXING WHILE I PRODUCE AND IT MESSES WITH MY HEAD
@@EDMTipsOF COURSE! ALSO, LATELY I’VE BEEN VERY INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO CREATE A SONG SIMILAR TO THE STYLE OF LIVE LIFE BY JUNKIE XL FROM THE WHITE LINES TELEVISION SERIES. I ALSO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO CHOP SAMPLES IN THE STYLE OF ALON MOR LIKE IN HIS TRACK ECHOES FOLLOW
Wasn't a massive fan of the drums, till we got to around the 21-minute mark. I swear I can hear `Blaze - Break For Love!` 🤍 Sublime, absolutely sublime!!!!
Wow! I'm not really interested making music in similar style, but this was a very useful tutorial anyways. I think you hit the vibe pretty well. Thanks!
Thanks a lot Will for all you do, i progress by watching yours videos 😉, and this one is Great. It's exactly the style of music I love,I dont understand all you Say because I'm french and my english is not perfect but the step by step of all you do help me a lot 😁👍👏
Great video, superb song so far! I think the most important what makes the track so bouncy is the groove you add to that drums. I wish in cubase there are some presets like the groove section in ableton, but there are just the swing knob which need a lil extra tuning everytime and this makes the processing longer than I like to have. When there are some tips for adding more bouncy groove hit me up!
when adjusting the pitch of an audio clip, if you hold shift+up/down arrow it will automatically pitch that clip up or down an octave. that way you don't need to do the math for it.
I'll add this to my list, Moritz, but this is a very niche subject so I am not sure how many people will vote for it. Check out my Accelerator program though, breaking apart and retreating specific sounds is what we do a lot during our sessions.
Is there a general rule for which buss to mix your kick in? I've seen some producers group it with the sub, others keep it completely separate and others mix it in with all the drums (this tutorial, Disclosure). Another banger Will! That melody is so addictive
Great - BUT - what about how to go about triggering the videos? All these "How to Fred Again" YT tutorials and the videos are always left out. This is an integral part of FA's performance. Love to see a video on that. Thanks.
I would have 3 interesting Requests for Artists with a very unique Style: Paul Kalkbrenner (If you dare / Never found any good video on his style, I guess his sound design is way to unique and hard to imitate) Nicolas Jaar Maya Jane Coles
Great suggestions! I did a tutorial on Paul Kalkbrenner before, you can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OksILPw1nh4.html 🙂
at 4:50, can someone explain to me the equivalent to the groove he uses but for a Logic Pro X user? I know how to add swing to samples in Logic. but it doesn't seem the same
Nice video, I really enjoyed this...the samples can be downloaded only with Ablethon? Cause im with fl so from the link i cannot have the files, am i wrong?
When you add the grove to the drum track and then make more additions to the track, do you need to add the grove back to the track? If you applya groove that doesn't work, how easy is it to remove?
Hey! I downloaded this but It came up with a blank project for Ableton? Has there been an issue with this as I was looking forward to see how they made this track? :)
@@EDMTips I guess the recording without context could be misinterpreted. Anyway, I didn't mean it in a bad way, more funny than anything. Awesome video ❤
