Have you ever wondered if you could make ink from a bouquet of flowers? In this video, I'm diving into the fascinating process of creating natural ink from flower petals, and I can't wait to share the journey with you.
In this demo, I take two different types of flower petals and transform them into beautiful, natural ink. Using red rose petals and light lavender mums, I'll show you my process of extracting pigments and turning them into usable ink for your art projects. This method not only brings a unique and organic quality to your artwork but also allows you to explore the creative potential of nature's colors.
Throughout the video, I'll share both my successes and failures, because let's face it - that's all part of creating art. You'll see firsthand how some attempts yield results, while others may not go as planned.
So join me in this artistic adventure as we explore the magic of turning flower petals into ink.

That's a good idea! You could color writing paper those delicate shades. That would be pretty. If you tape the water color paper down first then you can paint many layers, waiting for each layer to dry, for a slightly deeper shade. (Probably would work on thinner writing paper, too.) For ink, however, perhaps concentrating the flower water thru evaporation or simmering it down would make a stronger color. Kool-aid makes bright colors. 😊

Thanks for those ideas! I was thinking the flower water needed to be simmered down a bit more. Kool-aid colors sounds exciting to try! :D

About the Kool-aid; in my naive wool spinning years I dyed some leftover Merino spun wool. The Kool-aid made the most gorgeous colors! I used Blueberry, cherry, strawberry, lime and grape. (Separately, of course. ) That was in '85 or so. Still have the samples. They haven't faded and haven't been attacked by moths! BTW...I used both sugar free and reg. Kool-aid. I'm thinking how that dye would look on rice paper...or tye-dye t-shirts. What about clay...the air dry or oven bake stuff? I'd live to know what you come up with...😊

Maybe next time before you take us on this ride with you , maybe next time you go to try something new don't advertise or claim that you know what you are doing. try new things out 1st and go ahead and video it and if it doesn't work , then throw away your video . Then you don't need to waste our time. You put something out there on you tube and You post *( MAKING INK), then you didn't make ink , it makes people feel like it was a waste of their time and it makes you come across like your not the professional artist as you claim to be. People won't come back. It's sad to see you fail. People don't give videos much time before they loose interest. You want to make them feel like they want to come back to see what you are going to be teaching.. maybe you should look up how to make videos. How to do all the things you want to share with people. Have you looked up skill share? That's probably a good start for you. Learning how to video and teach. It's hard. It's not as easy as it looks.. U want viewers to like u . Don't spend any time talking about what you are going to do. Have everything out planned ahead of time. Your area looks like the lighting is poor. The area where u are going to be working should tell a story, there's so much more you could do. Right now you are not coming across as a teacher or a professional. It's comes across as real low low rent . You claim that u make art music, I didn't see anything about what you are claiming that you a gift blessed with. Go back learn how to first and try it all over again. I would start with a new name, that way all of the people who saw this will give you another chance. I know that I am probably coming across hard on u , but , I really truly love to see the little guy win. But , right now it's not working every thing is just not coming across like a artist at all. The colors u have in the background look muddy all the same color of pink. When I mix up a bunch of random red, pink they come out that crazy color u had on your canvas.good luck
