Yoooo same here!!! I live in Texas now so our hot is really just the stuff too mild to be labeled mild in New Mexico. Great flavor though. In hatch season again so I’m checking out other recipes to see what I can add to my own.
both look great. Will try them. I've got 2 40 ounce jars of the Hatch Green Chilis. Nice to know Costco carries them, sad that Sam's Club in Michigan doesn't [though I get them at Sam's when out in Colorado].
I just found your restaurant on Milive and was so excited until I just saw it burnt down! How awful and I'm so sorry for all. I was looking for "real" friend chicken and your sides were wonderful. Damn! Ok, so now I am following you and when I get a paycheck, will buy your cookbook. We lived in ABQ too and your recipe looks totally great. I'm a little late learning about you but better late than never!
Thank you for your recipe. my tip is, don’t add cilantro to the whole pot only add it for garnish to each bowl. If you add it to the whole pot and save it for the next day the cilantro can’t hold up and it just becomes mush.
