5-1/2 cups of macaroni (follow box instructions, undercook 2 mins)
Make Roux;
1 stick butter
3 tbsp flour
3-1/2 cups heavy cream
Add seasonings;
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2tbsp smoked paprika
Add 1/2 cup all cheeses to roux; (save the rest to sprinkle in layers and top)
Colby jack
Mild cheddar
1 cup sharp cheddar (important see ** below)
Smoked Gouda
Smoked Gruyère
Mozerella
2 to 3 tbsp cream cheese
2 to 3 tbsp sour cream
1-1/2 tbsp mascarpone (this can be optional)
Cook 45 mins to 1 hour @ 350 degrees. Let stand 6 to 7 mins before serving. Enjoy!!
**for more of a cheesy dominant taste over gourmet taste add 1 cup sharp cheddar and 1-1/2 cup mild cheddar.
