I just received my new Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer. An amazing machine, for sure. I love it. Juice in no time and so easy to clean! It's worth the money!
I love my J2. The fact that you get fine pulp in your juice means more fibre. It's also the reason why a high speed blender such as the vitamix and nutbag method will beat the juicing method hands down. In the J2 I used the same 2 to 1 cup ratio as the blender, and sure the pulp was dry but the milk was nowhere near as creamy or flavourful also left a fine pulp which needed sieving several times. This is not the most cost effective method imo, I also think you will not be getting the same nutrition benefits. The blender method is more of a pain but the quality and quantity is better.
I'm new into juicing , I would like to compare nama j2 and Auto 10 kuming , The nama j2 already have a larger bowler ? I'm in Uk but unfortunately I cannot have nama c2 here , but i'm hesitate between the nama j2 and auto 10 kuming , i Need your support please
Thank you for the recipe :) Will try this myself now. However with regards to the J2, I don't see any difference doing this on the 5800 vs the J2, if you can't put it all in the hopper at the same time. Isn't that what should be the big advantage of the J2, to save time? I find the 5800 much more versatile(juice, smoothy and sorbe), cheaper, and I'm not sure the J2 is that much time saving as long as you can't put the whole recipe into the hopper at the same time. Would be very interesting if you could do a comparison between make the Joe's Mean green both on the J2 and the V5800 at the same time with a stop watch. From prepping the micros the the finished juice. Then you will see how much time you will save. (or maybe also include the cleaning) In my opinion from what I've seen so far on youtube, the hopper should be twice as big, so that you can load the whole JMG recipe and do something else for 5 minutes, and with a buildt in timer so that the juicer stops automaticly after a set time of your choosing. Then you could load the juicer, set the timer to 4-5 minutes, go take a shower(or similar 5-10min rituals ) and when you come back the juicer has stopped and the juice is finished, ready to be served. That would be a game changer. Love the Nama V5800 and interesting to see if the J2 lives up to the expectations :) How much time do you think you will save with the J2?
Wow.. thank you. I was considering the J2..in fact I put my 5800 up for sale$200.00 to help pay for the j2. But after reading your post. And looking at a joe cross vid showing him putting in spinach and cucumber. I am loke thats not the Mean Joe Green recipe!! I am going to wait a while ..i am sure they will revise this model...thank you again for posting about what it does not have for $150.00 more. As of sept 18,2021 the cost is $550.00 for the j2.
Thanks for your feedback Frode. With Nama J2 you can load an entire recipe, and the juicer will chop up the produce and juice for you, while you can use the time to prep for the next recipe, or do anything else you wish to do :) But we stand behind that both juicers are amazing!! The only difference is in how you juice.. and, indeed, if you love to make smoothie then we recommend sticking to Vitality 5800! We are very happy to hear that you are enjoying your current juicer! :)
Hey Joe, how are you? I hope you're in better health I'm Egyptian and just starting my 60day juice challenge, and I hope you can help me with some of my questions. I've only seen your challenge a week ago and now I'm on my third day. Are only fruits and vegetables allowed? I mean, is coffee and tea allowed? Also will drinking buffalo milk work? More importantly, are fruit and vegetable eaters good or must be half fiber? Please advise me and answer because I need to lose 30 kilos.
I did 2 weeks juice fasting before. Only vegetable and mix with apple to taste better. I think celery, cucumber, little bit of ginger, and 1 apple is good for daily juice. Every time you are hungry, just drink juice or water. Simple as that. For me after done juice fasting several time in the past 2 year. My weight up and down. Now I’m combine Keto diet and OMAD (one meal a day) which almost lost weight as fast as juice fasting. And I can exercise 5 days week without losing energy and become very fit. I incorporate juice fasting into my life style. In which I do juice fasting 2 times a year and every time for 2 week. Then back to Keto diet and exercise. Try it, you will love it. It’s more sustainable than 60 days juice fasting. If you need some help, let me know.
They are a good source of polyphenols and antioxidants. But if you insist, drop them into boiling water and then take the pan off the heat. Leave them in the water for exactly 60 seconds. Then drain them and drop the almonds into cold water. Rub the almonds in your hands and the almond skins will slip right off. You can compost the skins.
Have you gained any weight back joe. From your original weight loss years ago. I’m starting a three day juice fast starting tomorrow. Wish me luck and pray hard lol

He’s definitely out on some weight. Shoot… so have I. Hopefully he finds his way back to where he was. I barely recognized him… Currently, on my own road back to health. Praying the same for Joe!

From your house in Australia and yet we can’t get this version in Australia yet and even when it does become available here eventually it will have to ship from the US! Not on! I will stick with the original Hurom one! I really like you Joe but feel that you have sold out to the big bucks in the US and abandoned your Australian origins!
Aww - he would never do that. He has to wait on Nama to make it available with Australian plugs - hopefully, it will be soon ❤ - He likely has an adapter to use the US version there.
