Hibiscus flowers- wash them thoroughly and air dry them (with a cloth to cover it to prevent from dust particles) for 5-10 days, grind them and store it for few months
that happens when its mixed with even the tiniest amount of water. as long as its super dry, free from any water, and stored in a clean place, all is well.
@@HHWC100 HI Wanda,well i picked 3 hibiscus flowers because i have 2 trees and took the green piece off and broke the flowers up then i put in a warming cubpoard and covered for about 3 days,then i put in the sun but it just doesnt get that hot sun here in New Zealand so i brought out my dehydrater which is fabulous for anything and yes it worked,nice and crumbly and with what was left over and there was a lot put in a glass jar and store in dark cubpoard.There are so many people using dried powders in there products and you can spend a fortune buying,look around your neighbourhood and ask if you can have some leaves or flowers and yes you can make essential oil extract easy peezy
@@sabnazzy Thank you so much. I can’t wait to use it. I live in Virginia in the US and I brought my Hibiscus 🌺 plant inside for the winter. It is still blooming inside under the grow light. I don't think it's a good idea, because no matter how air tight a container is, it will absorb moisture in latter stages! It doesn't spoil in the normal room temperature....so better keep it in dry environment

I was drying the hibiscus flowers since 5 days, but today it accidently got wet in the rain. I dried them under fan. Will it be fine if I continue to dry them under the sun? Will it develop fungus after I make it into powder? Please reply!!
