Great use of eternal flame! Depending on what you’re going for, I know serenity loses 10% of the attack bonus from ferocious gives but it enhances your DPS by so much with a 30% cooldown.
Awesome guide Speaker! very clear and to the point. This is the first time for me seeing Polykeraunos in action, looks fun! I'll be breeding up an Orzerk soon though I'll probably swap out ferocious for serenity. Also I'll have to check out your music, Thanks!
Orserk is my fav as well. Thanks for the deets. I wish they would add an MMO overworld for palworld and keep the single player mode as an instance you can invite people back to--like (yes I'm old)when WoW introduced the bases (I think it was warlords of Draenor)... Make it so you can only keep 5 pals in your kit and make a special catch container with limited slots for the overworld. If you die in the overworld your body should come back to the warp in though--losing all your stuff because your corps is unreachable is un-fun.
When Palworld survives the lawsuit, just to shit on Nintendo they should try to make Palworld an MMO, Because that's what Pokémon fans have wanted for years.
@@CaptainZekter From what I understand, which is verry little, Nintendo filed the patents after Palworld was released. I'm a mediocre programmer so I'm going to go back and patent anything and everything I can in AAA games that isn't patented and make games with those patents... then I'm going to sue all the AAA games for violating my Patents :D
Hey so I'm relatively new to Palworld but is there anything wrong with the combination of Ferocious, Serenity, Lucky, Musclehead? I haven't gotten high enough to go mess with the legendary beasts yet, but I bred an Anubis with those traits and he seems to destroy everything I use him against. Are those decent enough traits to work together?
No there isn't anything wrong with that combination. You may find they're lacking a bit on defense as you start to face some stronger enemies, however by that point you'll most likely have even stronger pals with different passive skill combinations. But as long as that passive skill combination works for you there isn't anything wrong with it. In fact it's pretty good to have pals like that with Lucky since that can be a struggle to get later in the game. Hope this helps 🙂👍
@@speakerheadgaming I'm currently trying to breed a Jormuntide with the same traits, but once i get Legend I'll work on incorporating that into my pals for sure. Thanks alot!
I have a couple of guides I'm working on right now, but I'll bump that guide up on the list 🙂👍 Also since you're breeding them right now, I suggest trying to get the passive skills Legend, Musclehead, Serenity, and Ferocious or Burly body depending on if you want more attack or defense on them
You want: 'ELMS' for FIRE and LIGHTNING pals: Eternal Flame Legendary Musclehead Serenity 'SLMS' for DARK and ICE pals: Siren of the Void Legendary Mysclehead Serenity 'LMIS' for all other combat pals: Legendary Musclehead Impatient Serenity (There are few exceptions) Have fun out there! :)
Pretty much your main options to get Ferocious is to keep breeding Relaxaurus until one is born with that passive skill or by breeding two different pals, one with Ferocious, that will result in a Relaxaurus egg. You can find all breeding combinations for a pal on Palworld's official website (palworld.gg). I hope this helps!
I don't normally show the stats during the video due to using them in the thumbnail, however I have been starting to incorporate them into the video as well. As for them being weak, all I can say is try them out for yourself and see what you think. Thanks for watching!
I have the game but haven't played yet, but that did not seem broken nor overpowered at all. You almost ran out of time...I'm guessing your pals aren't ment to be major DPS, your character must be the main DPS. Considering you staked 200% damage I expected more, which is disappointing to see...maybe I should wait longer to play the game.
Well for starters, you shouldn't assume things about a game you haven't even played. Before the Sakurajima update, this boss was considered the hardest tower boss in the game so of course it wouldn't be an easy sweep on this boss, especially since there is no extra boost for type advantages. Something else you might not understand since you haven't played the game is that you're not supposed to let your pal do 100% of the battling. This is a game where you're actually allowed to fight along side your pal with a pretty decent variety of weapons so in reality it's a 50/50 split on you & your pal doing damage. If anything it makes it more impressive that Orserk, a pal with less than 7k health, was able to beat a boss with 200k health with only a couple of breaks in between. Plus I will admit I do try to extend fights when I can to help show off the pal more. That being said, the fact you would make a decision to not try a game, one you already own, based off of a single upgrade guide.... Honestly a pretty stupid reason if you ask me. But if you want to miss out on a fun game because you can't make a pal that can one shot every boss that's not my problem 🤷
@@speakerheadgaming I didn't say I wouldn't try it, I already purchased it a long time ago, but for me, first impressions make or break my experience. So me wanting to wait, only means I want to have a good experience with the game and that I have high hopes for it. Doesn't mean I think the game is bad by any means. And sorry if I gave that impression. Furthermore, I believe I did point out that I figured the games DPS must be primarily character based, and while I appreciate the info on how high end the boss was (which was why I made the comment in the first place, it was mainly a question), you didn't need to be so rude. Some people, if the game is bad (or rather too under developed) it ruins the experience and they may never even come back to it. Like Dragons Dogma 2, I waited 6 months for them to fix the game before even trying to play it, game was still God awful. Crying shame since I loved the first one. But what you said has dampened my trepidation so I may give it a try.
I apologize for my harsh words. It wasn't my intentions to be that rude. Some people leave similar comments to intentionally annoy Palworld players. I hope my comment hasn't pushed you away from the game further. It genuinely is a fun game, it's just not the type of game you can tank every boss with a single pal. Ig a good way of looking at it is that it plays fairly similarly to Ark: Survival Evolved if you ever played that. Once again, I'm sorry about my previous rude comment.
@@speakerheadgaming thank you, unfortunately I have not played that game, but I have been excited for this game for a long time. Being patient is not my strong suite, so it's actually hard to wait, but I will definitely be playing it. I purchased it to support development. And thank you for your coverage of the game.
Why are you watching a video & commenting on a video about a dead game? Maybe it's because the game is still here and I'm going to enjoy it while I can. How about do something better with your life than leaving dumb comments :)
