Thanks to everyone who requested a panda plush tutorial, I hope you will enjoy this! A panda is trickier to make than many other animals because of the black patches around the eyes and ears. I really wanted to think of a method that doesn't require making all the black parts separately. Then last week I suddenly realised that the double-sock method from the sheep plush could work and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

*I bought my socks from H&M. They're often sold out online but if you go into any real H&M shop, they should almost definitely have these socks in the women's section near the checkout tills.
WHAT I USE TO FILM & EDIT MY VIDEOS:
Camera - Sony A6000 - amzn.to/1RdFFCA

Software: iMovie 10.0.1
MORE TIPS
1) The most important part of this DIY is sewing the edges of the white fabric onto the black. You need to use small stitches and make sure these are close together so there are no gaps for the stuffing to pop out.
2) The fluffy sock fabric is very stretchy so you have to be careful whenever you're cutting into it. Don't cut too much or make the eye circles too large because the fabric will stretch to almost twice the size when cut open.
3) Normally when stuffing a sock plush, you can always fit way more stuffing inside than you imagine. The only exception I've come across so far was the face of this panda plush. I had to use much less stuffing than usual because the outer sock enhances the shape and too much stuffing will cause the head to look too big and misshapen.

I just stumbled onto your channel the other day and I am loving your sewing DIYs. I myself started hand sewing as a child but ever since I moved out of my parents' house and am living in a small apartment, I don't have the space to sew anymore. This is making me really excited for future projects when I move into a house!

I had the same experience, I used to love sewing/crafting as a child but stopped completely for almost 10 years because I was living in a tiny flat in London and just didn't have space for crafting supplies. It was only when I started my RU-vid channel two years ago that I got back into handmaking things again, and it's so much fun.

+Ashlynn B Yes, I like the silent videos best myself but unfortunately some tutorials don't make any noise at all, especially the sewing ones. If I removed the music then there would be several minutes of complete silence during the sewing scenes so that will probably end up boring many viewers ^_^"!

Sweet Macaroon Aww thank you! It's seriously all down to practise, when I started RU-vid I could barely sew at all (it took me 3 attempts to make the first sock bunny tutorial). So I encourage everyone to get started and even if your first few plushies don't look that great, you will learn and improve very quickly!
