That is good to hear Odette, glad I'm not the only one! Redlead has several styles of paper doll and similar doll type stamps. The one i used is unmounted and larger than the mounted one, FYI. Thanks for watching!

I thought I had this stamp, but not. I love Redlead stamps though so I ordered it and its here. I love the stamps I've gotten from them. So I'm working on my paper dolls. Your DETAIL is CRAZY GOOD!! I rewatched this video to remember all you did I sew, so I use fabric a lot for lots of small images. Like flowers or birds I cut out of fabric patterns. To help make fabric not so limp, I paint very lightly with diy decoupage (3 to 1) on back of fabric and it helps to cut out nicely. AND, seals to stop fraying edges. So I did that with the tiny fabric dresses. Thought I'd pass that on. You've taught me so much. I wanted to give a little back. Haha!! Thx again for the video. Oh, Tim Holtz stamps images in Misti, colors image, then restamps. It works great. Have great day. Austin,TX USA

Yes, I loved paper dolls when I was young and I still do now. I have a huge collection of dolls that I saved go my Pinterest account. You've given me wonderful inspiration to use them in my journals. Thanks so much! And YES, I would love to see more of the Lady with the curly hair you drew and started to embellish. You should have a stamp made of her, she's lovely.

I’ve been life-long doll lover for 75 years, including paper dolls. These paper doll paper clips are delightful! It is so nice of you to share other RU-vidrs names. I wish someone would do the same for those of us on Etsy who make junk journal digitals and/or sell supplies. When Gail Agostinelli made her sharing videos, they were my favorite! Etsy’s algorithm has the same issue: unknown designers are not shown and can’t earn the star seller badge. Everything is now focused on big money sellers. 😢 ❤ SayessDesign

You can use markers like watercolors. If I don't have a color that I need in a pencil, I will use a marker. I usually just scribble the brush marker out on an old oatmeal cannister lid that i use for a palette and pick up the color with my water-brush. I learned that nifty tip from Bonnie Krebs of Art Impressions. The girl with the blue dress would have looked wonderful with orange monarch butterfly wings. I have a Mary Engelbreit friends paper doll stamp. I'll have to figure out how to create a paper doll clip for my positivity journal. I used to collect dolls -- paper dolls take up much less room. smile!

Love the dolls so sweet! I have been a subbie of yours for a while I also watch on tv so I can't comment as much as I'd like. But love your creations and watching your process! THESE ARE WAY TOO CUTE!!! I love, love, love these. You really went the extra me putting on a dress and bling!!! WOW!! How do you THINK of this stuff!! I love your videos. I have several Redlead stamps. They are so unique. I know I have at least 1 with wings. I'm definitely going to make these. When I saw the cute little paper dolls they reminded me of the kewpie dolls I had as a child. They're absolutely precious. 1 thought Concerning embellishments that are very tiny Have you considered Using embellishments for fingernail tips? They sell them at beauty supply stores And dollar stores And amazon has them. Be sure and use amazon smile if you shop with amazon so you can have free donations to the charity of your choice. I like using doctors without borders Because they're so needed right now But whatever you choose there's many to choose from Hope this helps and finding tiny embellishments!

Hello Robin, I am new to your channel. I have never watched you before and am in love with the paper doll which I have already ordered. I am 65 and paper dolls were my answer to today's Barbie Doll. You said you did not mind answering questions, so here goes. When you were showing us how the paper doll was clipped, one of them was clipped to envelopes that were not glued together, were collaged inside and out, and stacked one inside the other. If you know which one I mean, can I purchase the template and instructions for the envelopes. I find it very hard to catch all the sellers as I try and subscribe to as many as possible to help them and like everything I watch. It is my small way of trying to help all the channels because I learn so much from them sharing their knowledge. So if you are going to do a tutorial about them it will be very hard for me to make sure I catch it. Thank you for your tutorial. You have a very natural way of presenting and watching your tutorials is a pleasure as well as informative. Thank you, Rosemarie Watz (Rose)

Hi Robin, I love your work and style. I am an old-school stamper from way back (1990’s) and I am so glad I can use my tools in journal making. I also make tatting which I incorporate into all my vintage style work. I have a RU-vid channel where I have many needle tatting tutorials and am trying my best to keep this vintage craft alive since it is fast becoming a “lost art.” My channel is called Linda Price (my name), so it is easy to find. Thank you for offering to help us spread the word about our channels. Since in the past, I owned a rubber stamp store, I have lots of stamps I can try the technique you are showing here. Thank you so much for helping us to know we’re not “the only adult” who still loves paper dolls. I think my favorite is dolly dingle and I also collected all of Mary Englebreits from her magazine for years. A soufflé gel pen in black is also good to use on her patent leather shoes

These are darling! I love them! I had to go buy the stamp and a few others so I can play with some too! I played with dolls and paper dolls for a long time and I drew and dressed my own paper dolls as well! I haven’t been able to watch many of your videos lately as I was busy with my Etsy shop and starting my own RU-vid crafting channel, I talked about my paper dolls in my introductory video… 😊🌸😊 I have a bit of catching up to do on your videos, but I will. Thanks Karen. For the life of me I cannot figure out why someone hits the thumbs down. I wish youtube would show who the cowards or trolls are. But I'm thankful for people like you, there are way more who like than dislike. If I don't like a video I would never put a thumbs down, it's shameful and bad karma!

Hi Robin! Thanks so much for the shoutout...I truly appreciate your support! That was a very nice surprise, my friend. That stamp makes the most adorable paper doll. It is the perfect size and image, and I must have one...lol! She reminds me of the Cupie dolls. I didn't play much with paper dolls when young. I was more into baby dolls, and Barbies. But, recently I have been inspired to play with some, to use in my journals, so I was happy to see this video! Great fun! I am going to run over to Red Lead and get me one of those cute stamps. Robin I am loving these dolls! I have loved paper dolls all the days! I have made Drawers and pockets and matchbox style additions to my LGB journals just to be able to include a set of paper dolls! I now have 2 granddaughters that I get to make them for! I’m looking forward to receiving my Redlead stamp I have ordered and making the paper clip right this minute! ☺️ thank you for sharing your talents! I’m a huge fan!
