Hello! In this video, I'm making paper mache fox. This time, I used only paper. When I make animals using paper mache, I usually use air hardening modeling clay for face features, feet, and other small details. This time, I've challenged myself to use only paper and try some new techniques. This time, I added a 'fur'. My intention was to make fox look more fluffy, but in reality, it looks more shabby. It happened because of acrylic paint. It made paper cuttings stick together, and when it dried, it made them stiff. I tried to separate them later, but it was very hard. If you want to make fluffy fur, then do as I did with the tail. Paint paper before you glue it onto the body. Use real fox pictures as a reference. Foxes come in a lot of shades, so it's up to you what colors to paint.
Materials: Toilet paper rolls, packing paper, cardboard, school/white universal glue (dilute with water when gluing paper), hot glue, half beads for the eyes, acrylic paint, scissors, tissue paper, paint brushes, painters tape.
