Hello there, there is no particle effect in 2020 version there are other effects but I cannot make particles colours the same way with letters, I can only make particles with one colour is there any solution for this? thank you
Hello sir I just try out this animation, I have achieved about 95% but a small problem is that my text doesn’t get dissolved as particles right at the beginning, it takes some times to dissolve. Is any thing I want to change in the parameters 😂😂 But my text is not octopus, it’s some lengthy one with three layers

I don't have trapcode particular in my after effects CC2019 . Did you downloded this particles or ... ? PS . Sorry if I make mistakes in words . English is not my mother tongue.
i did everything right and got the result almost like you but the difference is my particles reaches a point where it disappears not diminishing till it's became so tiny and then disappears why is that can you tell me ?
Nice tutorial . But i have a issue. After using particular preset , my screen got 2 red coloured diagonal line appeared, now I don't know how to get rid off them. Please help
4:38 If you're using an older Particular, when You select layer source, check the masks option (Instead of Source) in order to to see the mask revealing the particles from left. You're welcome!
Does it work if you use a pre-designed logo from illustrator ? as im trying to do it but as soon as im on 4:57 the emitter doesnt follow the text its all gathered in the centre it doesnt go out like yours
Your logo must be contained in 1 Composition that is as large as the main Composition. In other words, you have to pre-compose .. the logo. It's like my text is in Text Comp
Gah.. I done it three times now, i cant get it right. At the end result i get that "blurry" part in front of the particles, not flowing together with the particles, hmm..

I don't want to scrap the work I've done so far (I added animations at the beginning, now looking for a cool way to scrub away the text like shown)

So I'm fine up until I have to set my text comp as a layer. Lol I do have trapcode bought out, same with after effects... but Trapcode just doesn't want to apply to my layer ever AFTER I turned it into a 3D layer.
The layer containing Particular is not converted to 3D, you can only convert Text Comp to 3d. Note that Text Comp is not a layer that contains Particular

when I bind particles to the mask layer (in the layer Emitter-layer section) , they do not work for me for some reason. The particles themselves are located in the corner of the screen, and the fixed layer with light does not appear. Help anyone who has faced the same problem
