That wud make me angry, push them out of the seat, give them the Simple Piano app, or whatever, until they learn how to play properly. Thats how its done😉👌🏼
I do this trick with my violin, playing higher but slower, then shifting back down can be a very emotional effect, and it’s very fun (also helps practice string switching and shifting positions)
When I’m performing I LOVE to play things lower or higher on the piano even if they aren’t “supposed” to be played that way. Sometimes it just adds so much depth to the song
That's my all-time favourite as well to play on the piano (took a while....), but that one is definitely not better in a higher octave, the beauty is in the depth of the Fsharp and Gsharp
One time I was playing the piano at church after a youth event while others were playing other games... The lid thing shut on my fingers in the middle of one of the good parts of the song I was playing surprisingly it didn't hurt much also nobody noticed
If you experience much crying there’s two reasons usually; parents and grandparents watching how their little boy has grown and now he can play piano, or genuinely music geniuses who think you are slaughtering the music from their favorite composer.
I am learning Chord Overstreet’s Hold On on piano because I really like the song, and playing it in a higher octave gives it this feeling and I love it. The power of Octaves are amazing.
@@GreenToast01 lol imagine naming your account with some music saying then being a complete ass to others about music. Example, the whole tone scale is magical to some, easy to others, everything is relative. Don't be a dick.
I always find this to work better when you use the lower/darker notes in tandem with the high notes. Just some of those Really low keys can elevate a sad song.
I played L's theme one octave higher and everyone around me just dropped to the floor with tears in their eyes, but they never got up. I think they're asleep
And also, I’ve done the Peanuts theme (Charlie Brown) in the higher octave and at a slower tempo and it sounds like what you would hear at the end of that movie (although it technically isn’t).
Bro this worked so well. I played Girono’s theme in that octave and I couldn’t stop crying. Gonna play this at my friends birthday so we can all cry together.
To me the higher octave is like hearing the lower octave in a nostalgic way if that makes sense. It’s like a “faded” version of the original music, kinda similar to how in movies when they try to make it clear for you that someone is recalling something they’ll make the scene look a little bit yellowish and faded. Sometimes it feels desperate when I wanna go back to the past but there is no silver lining cuz time is unbeatable
Bruhhh I was thinking in my head “wow I gotta try this with the interstellar theme.” And then this man proceeds to say “You can even do it with the interstellar theme!” I think I’m telepathic or something at this point.
The higher octaves tend to reflect a more emotional response because it is a psychological association between those tones and more emotional moods in audio visual media. Our minds make the association between past experiences with audio visual media and those emotions that are both tender and often moving.
His theme from Undertale. I actually tried it and it reminded me of some memories from when I was younger. Mostly with my brother. Needless to say it worked
This reminded me of my favorite dog in my life and I love my dog and I have to be there for him to get my back up for my birthday and I will have a lonely 😞 birthday
