Can't tell you how much you've helped me, all those small tips like dragging the time bar so it snaps to the grid, and selecting the smooth mode so the sample bleeds into itself.
not bad but your compressor isnt doing jack if your ratio is 1:1 homie, you're just manipulating gain at that point. good tutorial for basic entry level producing but mixing is an art in itself
do another DJ Yung Vamp tutorial where you cover some of his really recognizable 808 patterns and particular styles and songs like SMOKE YO DREAM and SO SEDUCTIVE
i just started to learn fl and i was lost in a ton of shit video tutorials where many things are left out because these people are more youtubers than producers, videos like yours get lost in that crap. a friend linked me this video and im impressed. this has been extremely helpful, thank you
I actually learned a lot of FL tricks with this vid. Like. I've been chopping my sample and saving it individually on my drive, i had no idea you can drag it straight into the time line.
Dude. I love your tracks. Didn't realize you were ZappBeats until halfway through the tutorial. This should help me out a bunch. Thanks so much for the tips. I have a bunch of weird music I've made on Soundcloud, but since I discovered Phonk I've wanted to make some, and now I can. Once again, Thanks bruv. - CHAINSAW
Are audio technicas good for mixing or are they too heavy in the high end because they are for gaming. Whenever I mix on them and then go to my other earbuds, the mix is either too heavy in the high end and lacking bass or there is way too much bass because I had to boost it in my audio technical to hear the notes. Am I better of with good speakers?
Thanks for the video man. Im a new producer myself and you explained enough for me to understand how you did things. All these other people wanna just sound smart and shit like the ricer guy down the street. Thanks for the help homie!
Do you offer a course that explains how to make these kinds of beats ? If not do you know where I can find one? Im thinking of switching my DAW from reason propellerhead to something else more work flow conducive. But I think I could use a structured approach with several classes, each having action steps/homework after each class.
french and english are actualy my two natal languages cuz i live in quebec (a part of canada where we speak english and french) so i was like: oh thats cool its a fench tutorial
I give my phonks kinda a dark vibe and I was wondering how to make the bass not sound weird like when there’s two basses next to each other it makes a weird sound and I’m wondering how to fix that
