No i didnt. Can you explain how to use models and install them and where to install them. I get confused about loras and such. For example I found loras and models and put them into focus but how do you find the filters you are using in this video? There isnt a filter folder in fooocus
thank you for all these tips, very few youtubers offer tutorials on fooocus, so don't hesitate to continue sharing tips with us on this program. bravo for your channel!
I recommend add to the prompt: detailed skin. In Automatic 1111, i usually generate the image with a SDXL model and in Adetalier use a SD1.5 model for the inpaint process
I bought one of the best laptops on the market a few months back JUST for stuff like this, where I just knew we'd advance to create stuff not even MidJourney can 'handle' on a consistent basis anyway. Haha Thank you as always for sharing -- and for the prompt to get us started. Thanks to you and others, my other 'little RU-vid channel' is taking off with creating A.I. generated images and videos. Much gratitude!!
Wow good technique Fooocus looks simple. but under the hood so many advanced features. Thank you for sharing with us. I really enjoyed and practice your Fooocus videos
Nice! That's awesome. I'm working on consistent characters using Fooocus, it's not 100% perfect but it can be done to a point with some post production after.
@@lukasvdb99 Hey. I go to “image prompt”, where you have the 4 boxes saying “drop image here”. I placed a photo of the man I wanted in the photo in the first box (a saved photo), then in the second box , I placed a photo of a brunette woman I created previously in Fooocus in the second box. I then typed in the prompt: Ex.: A vintage monochromatic cinematic black and white photo of a handsome young man resembling a young Roger Moore (the first photo was of Roger Moore) dressed in a black suit sitting in a chair in a closet full of doll parts, a beautiful brunette woman (the second photo was of a gorgeous brunette woman) sits in the room with him, burlesque show, 1960s, 90mm lens, wide angle photo, full body photo, hasselblad camera photo, photorealism, photojournalism And both my characters showed up, repeatedly, deeply resembling the photos I input and were consistent. Hope this helps. I’m shy about making videos but may have to eventually. lol
I haven't seen any videos of it so I thought I'd share, sorry if you mentioned it. If you look below the run tab there is two other run modes. The regular main that starts up with juggernaut, one thats anime and one thats realistic.
Love it! Please keep the videos coming! Very helpful! Could you help explain facial expressions. Also is it possible to add something that was AI generated from this to another AI generated photo? Maybe a AI person in the background?
@@MonzonMedia Thank you! To better explain, kind of being able to put your AI generated character you've created in any sort of setting or background 😅👍
😂 Bruh...you think that was funny, look at the previous result! 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PaGrBsD2aNM.htmlsi=cngVzVDINgr5Pjjy&t=283
Could you point to the link to the refiner model and where to put it? (in what Fooocus folder? In my Fooocus I see no refiner folder in models is it placed in a different folder?)
thanks,I have learned it, it is very practical. Recently, I have been working on some pictures and encountered some problems. The faces of Chinese or Asian girls are not beautiful, while those in Europe and America are very beautiful. Is there a good way to control more facial features
Excellent video and tips, don’t normally use Fooocus but been experimenting with it, I was wondering is there a way to link the directory for the models to the same directory I use for comfy Ui and A1111 to save storage space?
Yes of course, there is a "config.txt" file that you can edit and direct your models to another platform like A1111 or Comfyui. There is even a .txt file that shows you what you need to do called "config_modification_tutorial". Appreciate the support! 👍
Given the nature on what I do here on YT, I don't have a preference however with that being said, Fooocus has become my new favourite for simple things, it's just so easy to work with and great for beginners to start with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone if they have the system specs. With that being said it's not as flexible or versatile as something like ComfyUI but the trade off is the learning curve and having to set up workflows before you can use it. Although I've learned a lot since using it, there is such a deep raibbit hole! hahaha! As for text, generally speaking it's just ok for stable diffusion. SDXL improved it a lot whereas with SD1.5 it wasn't possible. I'm sure over time it will improve however you can use things like controlnet to get better text.
Something is terribly wrong. I previously tried to install Pinokio and Face Fusion. I didn't get any real UI. Just a white window with no graphic elements and only buttons and text in a long row on the left side of the window. Now I get exactly the same phenomenon with Foookus. No UI with graphical elements. Just text and buttons on the left side of the window. I have tried on three Windows 11 computers and one Windows 10. Suggestions ?
Mainly it's used to duplicate a previously generated image as long as the settings and prompts are similar. You can also use it "kind of" to keep some elements of the image while change your prompt slightly so that it keeps the same feel but I use that loosely as consistency in stable diffusion on general is quite the challenge.
Hello. Do you know if it is possible to use custom sizes to create an image and not just those seen in Aspect ratios? That is to say, I control the sizes myself. Fooocus-MRE had the option to write the sizes and generate larger images.
You can modify the config.text file and enter the dimensions you want. However they have to be certain aspect ratios or else things can get messed up. Here's a good read on it. www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/zh3y8o/comparing_stablediffusion_sizes_to_aspect_ratios/ If anything save the default config file just in case. You can also read the config_modification_tutorial.text file that comes in the main comfyui folder.
@@MonzonMedia I have generated large images without problem in Fooocus-MRE. Example 1152 x1152 pixels. Do you have communication with the creator of Fooocus? Could you request the option to choose custom sizes? I think he would listen to you. I have not been able to achieve communication.
@@MonzonMedia the latest prompt with the latest settings is the only thing that keeps me on MRE. It shouldn't be too complicated to integrate it into the official version.
I agree! From what I know the developer of MRE is working with the original fooocus developer to integrate some things but I’m not sure what will be done.
IM having issues getting my Prompts to work with changing camera angles. Ones I want to use Wide, Medium, Over the shoulder, behind.. (But not have the face turn with the camera location.) thanks
it seems that faceswap does not work on this setup. its because current version is faceXL, which does not support 1.5. if you try to faceswap, it will be completely ignored and a 1.5 model will be loaded. do you maby know how to fix this issue? because this makes realistic vision etc. unusable for faceswap :(
Thanks for watching and supporting. Since that aspect ratio is not built in, you can change the config.txt file and add it. There is a config_modification_tutorial.txt file that explains what to do. But I wouldn't add a full 1920x1080, instead use 1024x576, then upscale the image.
You lost me on the refiner part I dont have that listed. I went to the site and downloaded it but I cant figure out where to place the file. Asked Chatgpt and it was just as confused as me. lol
You would load them into the same model folder ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=q2GT5dGo2ANsGfdd&t=141. Just to clarify, this is more of a hack to use Satble Diffusion 1.5 models "as a refiner" technically Fooocus only uses SDXL models and there is a dedicated refiner model for SDXL but not necessary to use a refiner for fine tune SDXL models. This method is a hack to use SD1.5 models the same way because those models tend to look more photorealistic. Not sure if that makes sense to you but I do plan on making a video to clarify this, seems that it's confused a few others as well.
@@MonzonMedia Thanks for the quick reply. I am not sure if I am doing it right. But so far these images look real asf. lol Very close to the ones you posted.
It's not Fooocus as it's just the platform you are using. Stable diffusion models in general sometimes can be tricky to use depending on the model. It doesn't understand natural language in a sense. You have to be very descriptive and literal.
@@MonzonMedia even with an input pic, it's not even close. Will obviously need to experiment more.. surprised it's working with my MSI 4gb GT 1030 card
I just started using Fooocus today and I'm a little lost as to how to add Refiners. I looked through your videos but couldn't see any kind of tutorial on how to do it. I have the refiner you suggest in your set up but have no idea where to actually place it...! Any suggestions would be truly appreciated!
Just note that technically, there is only one true refiner model for the base SDXL model. What we do in focus is more of a hack and that you are using "fine tuned models" as a refiner. Most of the fine tuned SDXL models don't need it at all, this was just a way to use SD1.5 models since they mimic photorealism a bit better than current SDXL models.
how do you know which files go to which folder and what happens if i put the wrong file in the wrong folder will it just not be a selectable model @@MonzonMedia
This is Fooocus, it's a local stable diffusion platform you run on PC. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=ep6-P5RSHD3mudC0
Great tutorial. Thank you. Does Fooocus have a configuration override that can point the model files to external directories that can be shared with Stable Diffusion UI? I am trying to avoid having multiple copies of model files.
Epic timing, I was just answering comments right now. 😊 I made the exact video just a couple weeks ago. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6BzpJzQcmrU.htmlsi=UhV_JX5OiwtirTRT
Same folder as your other checkpoint models my good man. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=RoFV2KVWfnjwx_Yp&t=145 Of course you're path will be slightly different.
For some reason, not a single loaded third-party model works for me, only the standard one installed by default, it writes: raise NotImplementedError(error_message) NotImplementedError: You have selected base model other than SDXL. This is not supported yet. I uploaded the same models as in your video: 4:05
Make sure you are downloading SDXL models. SD1.5 are not meant to be used as the main model. In this video I only use them as a refiner. Fooocus is not intended to use SD1.5 models as it's main model.
For SD1.5 lora's some work better than others but you need to make sure the refiner slider is on at least 0.4. If using SDXL lora's it's best not to use a refiner model.
I’ve had no issues in 2 years. For models the .saftensor format is the safest. Is it possible? Yes of course. But that’s like anything else we download from the net.
@@bsjdndkdndjddndjrjj If anything just make an effort to quickly look at the comments and see if there is anything fishy, and always download from reputable developers which would have a lot of downloads.
in the negative prompt don't use "ugly" and in the main prompt use words like skin texture, pimples, freckles...whatever it is you want to see. Also certain models do this better than others so you'll have to experiment.
what if i wanted to enhance an already existing image i have. (like the selfie on my ID card)? also, how can you create the same selfie of that person but facing different angles?
Put in the negative prompt blurry background, bokeh and also in the main prompt it’s often good to reference something in the background. Wide or deep depth of field can work too
Indeed, however some work better than others. For example some of the LCM loras don't work too well since they need lower steps but for the most part SD1.5 loras can work.
Just head over to civcitai.com, download your models of choice and put them in the checkpoints folder as shown here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=tnFaGgfHnyENSUPd&t=144
Hi, can you please do a video on running fooocus mre or just fooocus in online space for free tier users? I can use Google collab for fooocus but it doesn't save any settings and it is less features than mre. Also it does not work on cpu tiers available for free users. Is there a way to make it use cpu? Any - - lowram - - no float type instructions? Thanks
I believe so for M1/M2 but I can't speak for how well it performs. You can see a break down here and there is also different installation instructions. github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus?tab=readme-ov-file#minimal-requirement
Sorry my friend, I don't really use collab so I wouldn't know. Maybe check with the Foocus group on github or reddit? github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus/discussions
Oh my bad, sorry I thought you meant the styles weren't working on collab. But yes, you only want to prompt the main idea of your subject like I have in the description. The style will take care of the rest based on what you select. A good friend to our community put this together, the styles are pretty much the same. This way you can see what your prompt will look like when you select the style. Very handy! codepen.io/TheCopernicus/full/mdQZGpW
If you are running it on colab sorry I have no clue as I don't use it. You can try the github discussion board github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus/discussions or r/fooocus on reddit. www.reddit.com/r/fooocus/
You can take off the refiner model and just use an SDXL model, or if you want to use a refiner you have to bring the slider up to around 0.6 but you do lose some of the style of the refiner model. You have to find a good balance.
You should update to the latest version otherwise it will be unstable. You can put all your models here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=XQhFyrsBjS3zcPXM&t=144 just go to civitai.com and download the models you want.
Anyone has any ideas about fix for „not enought memory” issue on AMD GPUs? Tried github fixes like setting VRAM size manually and editing brownian file. My rig: RX 6800, 16GB RAM, Ryzen 5 5600X
If you can dual boot Ubuntu it's totally worth it. I played with all sorts of stable diffusion settings on Windows for nearly a week and it was a mess at best. Installing Ubuntu was really easy and works fantastic. FE Engineer has a good tutorial
Start with a good SDXL model like realvisxl, realistic stock photo, realism engine xl etc. also put key prompts like photo, analog, Polaroid, raw photo in the prompt. No need to put all of those but 1-2 can help. Also in the negative prompt put things like cgi, 3D, 2D, drawing etc. also remove the styles first. Maybe add the photo styles after.
Just prompting? Always think specific details and context, for example you can state what they are standing on like "knight standing on a mountain" or identify items of clothing "man wearing ripped jeans and converse shoes". Works every time. Just know that when you do full body, you will likely have to inpaint the face and hand details back. At that perspective details get lost. Hope that helps!
Head over to civitai.com, download the models you want and place them in your checkpoints folder. You can see where here. Just note your path may be different but the main fooocus folders should be similar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5EA358IPCs.htmlsi=9oaaT5hWjRZ4uPC1&t=145
Perfect that did trick Another question I've been trying to use a subject and use the same background with no subject in the image have you covered this yet? If so where can I find it?. I trying to make a comic series with this
