I've made this before...it's very refreshing....instead of crumbs, I use toasted coconut on top!

For general information: When you consider that butter and powdered sugar together can make a sort of cake frosting, you'll realize how SUPER SWEET and rich this dessert is. I made this with 1C sugar instead of 2 and still found it wayyy too sweet for my taste. This is definitely a full on heavy dessert, not a lighter fruitier one. Just my opinion for those who might be looking for the latter.

I know I am in the minority, but I enjoy the interaction with a person, who says what he/she is doing as they go along. I don't enjoy loud repetitive music as I just sit and watch. I really don't know if these shows get millions upon millions of likes, if so, good for them. I like the whole experience of learning a recipe. If it is not a "talkie" I'll move on....everyone enjoy your preferences.

So i made this. My honest opinion is it was good but coula been better. Slightly l8 less softened butter and slightly more cream cheese. I used store bought cool whip cuz I was pressed for time but totally agree on the comment homemade would have been better. Also a bigger can or more pineapple would have been better. Thanks. Next im doing the eclair cake. 😊

I use Nabisco graham crackers already crushed in a box,don't have to do all that. Looks good

Cool Whip is hydrogenated oil. Use whipping cream. It's much better for you.

I actually save a ton of fat and calories by subbing out the butter for a small carton of vanilla pudding and using the pineapple juice along with a touch of my favorite milk product until creamy.

Whose Mom hasn't made this delicious dessert at one time or another? I haven't had this in probably 30 years, but I will definitely make this soon. It looks so easy to make 👍 I hope it turns out okay, as I won't have my Mom's secret ingredient.... love ❤😊

You can also add bananas before the Cool Whip layer!

Going to try it out with one tweak fresh whipped cream instead of coolwhip. Not a big fan of the premade whipped topping.

Add roasted coconut to that and you’ve got yourself pina collada pie!

An apostrophe is a punctuational mark that indicates possession - such as “This is Bob’s house” - or to indicate a missing letter - as in “Don’t do that” - where it replaces the second “o” in “Do not”. Kitchen is spelled “Kitchen”. You indicate there is a letter missing when you write “Kitche’n”. There is no letter missing. I realize it might be important to you because of names like D’Sean or Sh’neequa or D’Andre, but Kitche’n is just wrong. Challenge: Where is the incorrect apostrophe in this sentence: Sh’neequa be axing me if I wanna go over to D’Sean’s place and play’s with his new puppy.

I’d cut the sugar to one cup,and add real whipping cream , Cool whip,is artificial,and it is an oil product ,which cheapens a dessert .

,I have Kathy Mitchell's Duump Cook books 📚 that I bought at Rite Aide 3y ago. This recipe might be in her book that I bought.. I just happened to see this on pinterst when I was looking for a easy dessert for Thanksgiving. I going to make a vanilla cream cheese pudding with the Graham cracker pie crust this thisweekend... for Thanksgiving, this is soooo good. I'm not good at baking that's why I want to make this when I make my grocery list
