This tutorial was made a long time ago (like early 2022 or smth) so it might be bad and abit wrong but ill be honest no one cares anyway.

for reference, i personally think that plugg beats are hella easy to make. even on PC
this beat/project, it took around and hour and 30 mins to make. SO!! if a dumb person like me can make a plugg beat like this maybe you can too, i'm saying maybe cus ill b for real, some of the beats i find lurking around on youtube are pretty bad. (this beat is really bad too but i made it so it is automatically the best thing ever imo)
This ain't the FL Sound Design series (and it will be out soon i promise) this is just something to hold onto while i finish making the video with whitemaiden.
*TIPS FOR NEWBIES*
Feel free to go crazy with the EP and other stuff, like add more attack to it, add a chorus and a flanger to it.
Try to make it bouncy as hell by implementing the tresillo pattern in.
Invest in a drumkit, like seriously, lots of cool sfx that are essential to that "plugg" feel are in them, and you support underground producers like me by doing so (even tho i don't got a drumkit out lolol)
Now, in the tutorial I put in the clap/snare (not ghost snare) in first always as it is what bring your whole beat together. So make all the elements of the drums flow w/ each other as that makes for a better beat imo, not melodies.
For percs like a ghost snare, just try to fill in the empty spaces left by the clap/snare and hihats.
