I've done both. I've used a diluted version with about 40% pure juice and a non diluted version. I like the non diluted version because its stronger both in alcohol and in flavour but its sweeter so it's your choice really. Good luck

I've used date syrup/honey in combination with apple juice to make cider and it worked well. Not sure if the flavour will work well with pomegranate. Maybe try a small batch and see. I'd be interested to hear how it works out.
You can use those I think. I use a 5 stage filtration system I have. I think any water with a low enough chemical additive count without any taste so it doesn't kill the yeast should work just fine.
