How to make Power bank using 7805 IC 

Can you tell me which Diodes you used for charging Circuit? battery charging circuit uses 5V charger to charge batteries? This video has simplest explanation!

Good but the diy power bank ran out of juice before it could fully charge my phone. The reason was because the 7805 component heated up so quickly which resulted in the battery draining rapidly.
