It can happen. I've had mine since xmas and I've only made 3 things. I'm pretty tech savvy but the cricut software is not too self explanatory so it can be overwhelming to do the simplest project.

I can't thank you enough. I have sat here for DAYS trying to figure this out. I bought a new printer, because I didn't have an inkjet. Still it didn't help me. Mind blown! 🤯 I came here to learn about print and cut. I chose your video because I could see that you are using multi-layered images which is what I am trying to do. So...what did I learn aside from exactly how to use print then cut (flatten!) how I wanted? 1) change the color of the canvas!! Wha?? 2) offset. Um, yes please! 3) contour - for real!! My machine was always cutting out these little things I wasn't expecting. I tried to weld shapes together to combat this problem. 🤦‍♀ 4) Use the align-center function to line up layers! Oh my goodness, I was zooming in and eyeballing them. And here it was SO easy... Best 20 minutes I've spent learning Cricut EVER! Thank you.

What kind of epoxy do you recommend for making the stickers truly waterproof? Do you think you could make a video on that? Or even an Insta stories video?

@@annemariedeaville1049 no, they are water resistant so they will last longer when getting them wet but if you were to soak it in water, it would ruin it. I still haven't found a true method to make stickers truly water proof.

Kayla, loved your video! Being a teacher, I love explicit instructions :) If you want your stickers to cut all the way through the paper, can you just cut normally (making each sticker an individual instead of a sheet of stickers?)

Thank you for your slow, detailed instructions! The way you break down steps and explain how tools work is well thought out, patient, and gentle. I appreciate this video you have created to explain and help others. Thank you for the time it took you to produce and publish it! I recently bought my cricut maker 3 for sticker making and many other endeavors, and the design space is a little learning curve for me. I'm used to computer aided drafting programs like AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit, but I am not a digital hobby artist on anything like Procreate or Ibis Paint, although I have tested out Ibis. Many of the tools and commands on digital art softwares like Ibis and the Cricut Design Center can be confusing for me, so your instructional video and explaining how commands (and showing them) affect the cut is very helpful.
