The intro/ending editing and electronic music makes the video feel like it was produced by a gaming channel. On the other hand the shots are beautiful.

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ru-vid.comUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

Bought an Edgit Pro because of this video - a major problem that I can see is that it allows debris to flip all over the place. I used it all day in my landscape business and I was covered in mud, grass, and other debris from head to toe and had several large pieces of debris fly into my face. I don't think it's safe and I'm worried about property damage. Took it off and put the regular guard back on.

great video. I would recommend to always edge from the grass side of the walk so that the edge isn't too wide.

I tried to edge with just a string trimmer if the edges are overgrown. I honestly hate to refill the trimmer line but thats the biggest downfall. Most people think it's easier to edge with a stick edger first than use the string trimmer. A lot of properties that are huge they prefer to use the Ventrac or Grasshopper mowers with the edger attachment. But on small yards like you're doing this is fine to use the stick edger and trimmer. Although some people would use a walkbehind edger. But overall the edges look sweet. It was a good thing you blew out the edges too to leave a great quality impression

That edge it pro , I have not seen it here in San Antonio commercial or residential. Doug’s Plant World has some great insight about it . We just remove the shields and I teach new guys how to edge forward and reverse front and backwards and how to flat top wo burning the grass as Ryan Curry was commenting cept I wouldn’t fire a guy if he wasn’t taught how to flat top wo burning the grass . I’ve worked for many top and small lawn service companies and the majority of em don’t train their employees how to use all of the equipment properly and safely and how to set a great route so ya don’t walk somewhere leaving dead time . I’ve also worked with the only nationally public traded lawn company and they required us to have all shields on and we were not allowed to edge with a weed wacker as they wanted us to use the stick edger yet they would only provide one stick E to do massive properties. Yeah , that was a no go . Anyways , great videos a little on the slow side but hey everyone has their own pace .

Hi, I really appreciate the vids - keep them coming! I have about 100' of concrete driveway/sidewalk and 400' of mulch beds that needs to be edged, and I was wondering if you guys could offer me some advice on my next purchase. Should I purchase the Echo PAS 225 Trimmer + Edger (is it even possible to use a stick edger to maintain mulch beds by rolling it on the grass) or the Echo SRM 225 + Edgit. The Edgit seems great at maintaining the mulch beds (I'm not sure if a stick edger is able to do the same), but I also really like the look of an edger blade around the sidewalk/driveway and I'm not sure how close of an edge the Edgit can make. Thanks!

Your other videos say to face the edgit pro away from the sidewalk for a thinner edge. This one says the opposite. Which is the correct way for a thinner edge?

Lol. Or you could just use the stick edger and be done with it. For much better results, and not scalp the lawn. You turf burn my walks like that, and you're fired.

You can buy them from their website or on ebay. Just type in "Edgit Pro" and make sure you get the correct one for your trimmer since they have different mounting options

.95 is what I use...sometimes .105 if I'm doing a lot of edging

I thought you could also. People use a trimmer w/o edgit pro to edge, So I assumed w/ edgit it would still work the same but only faster.

if you have a property where you have to revive an overgrown or completely overrun edge, a bladed edger is probably your cleanest and most efficent bet. i would think using the edgit to clear dirt & overgrown grass would be about the same as using a trimmer without it, but still not the best tool, unless the edge is already established or just mildly overgrown.

Yeah kinda misleading, i thought the reason for edgit pro was to replace the stick edger and make it the only tool needed, i think it still works that way, its just there style to use multiple tools to create a edge. Looks great after though.

+EC-Services landscaping & property maintenance correct, the edgit pro doesn't completely remove the medal blade edger. The medal blade edger is still used for if the grass has completely overgrown the edge or you take on a new property that doesn't have an existing edge already. But after the first time of use the edgit pro then takes over from there.

cut a little to much off can see the difference from the lawnmower and the edgit. it’s a nice invention but have to go back for a deeper and better look.. sorry but i would stick with original edger

seems gimmicky to me use an edger on your sidewalks and drives when needed otherwise learn how to use the string yes it takes a few months to learn it well but you're supposed to be a pro right. I learned it when i was 12 most people walk the wrong way. An edger is not a weekly tool if used that way of course you will have huge gaps. Just my thoughts
