If the lines are slipping you might need to go frame by frame for a few seconds to keep the tracking on. You might also want to try to start tracking from the end of the clip or the middle. Just keep testing until you find the best spot where it won't slip.
@@RealVideoFx one more question, I got it to work on a top down clip, but does this workflow work for a clip from a roughly 45 degree angle? Basically a fly over, that seems to be where I'm struggling. Thanks for getting back to me!
Yes mocha is a planer tracker so it tracks flat surfaces not just the objects. You might just need to go frame by frame and adjust the x spline tool keyframes. It actually works extremely well with that type of shot. Here is another video that tracks a windshield with mocha. The main reason is I’m just moving up and not really moving perspective. So it’s just faster to use tracker on a clip like I used. You could use mocha as well on this effect.
hello, please can you or someone tell me how i can do this after tracking something with Mocha FX, if i generate a stroke effect on that mask, i cant see "'Dashes'' option in the stroke editor. How i convert that mocha tracking to a shape layer? I am a AE newbie sry :)
