How fun! I enjoy and learn so much when you talk through what you’re thinking as you continue through the process! I did something along this line except I used strips vs squares to make my pumpkins. I sewed so many strip sets that I burned myself out. Put away last year and pulled out a few weeks ago. Decided I didn’t want to make a large quilt, so I completed a few more pumpkins and made a wall hanging! Thank you for this video!!
You are so welcome! I used strips too…and squares and solids pieces. 😁 I’m glad you got your project out and made a wall hanging. Such a good feeling to get it done 🧡 Thank you for watching 😊💛🎃
Thank you for showing and explain g how you made this bootiful quilt! I am I. The process of making a tee shirt quilt with different size squares and you helped me tremendously on how to make the adjustments I need!
I love your quilt; it's so unique! I'm currently designing a quilt which has no pattern and just uses some fussy-cut pieces - so your video was very helpful, with lots of tips that I can use. And can I say that I'm so JEALOUS of all your space, and those big tables!
Hello! You are so sweet! I’m glad you found helpful tips for your project 😊 I’m grateful for your kind words about my space 🤗 I saved for a few years for it and so glad I did. All the best to you and your quilt! ❤️🫶🏼❤️
What a beautiful quilt. I really like the bright colors with the purple background. I’m adding it to my list of quilts to make in the future. Thanks for all the tips you share including handling your scraps.
I've been working my halloween/fall fabrics for the past couple of weeks too. You shared some good tips cuz my goal is to rid myself of all that themed fabric. thanks so much
👋👋 ❤❤🎃🎃 WOWZER Thank you for your thought process. I grabbed my notebook a noted how you figured your borders. Thank you, that made total sense. 💡 moment 😂
Lol, I try to mix it up a little bit 😁 I thought the railroad tie was connected but it was just wedged to the other one! 🫢 How long? Who knows 🤣 Glad it held 😅 Thank you for watching! 🎃💛🧡
Just found this video and love your beautiful quilt. I much prefer this style of quilt to traditional. Is there any chance you could do something similar with a variety of Christmas Gift blocks? I'm inspired to give it a go myself but obviously you are more practiced at this method and would undoubtedly do it better. Glad I found you. Thanks for sharing.
I bet you would do great! I absolutely LOVE this idea and have made notes about it. I appreciate your faith in me and my work. All the best to you! ❤️😊🫶🏼🎃💛
Thank you for all your thoughts. I'm almost finished watching so you may have said this but, if you have one block left, especially if it's a solid. You could put on back and use as a label! Use a permanent pen to write date and name
That is a wonderful idea!! 💡I have labels I print myself but that would be great for others that don’t have labels! Thank you so much for sharing!! 😁🧡🫶🏼🎃
Hello and thank you! My pretzel tin came from my Aunt, which came from my Grandma 😍 My Grandma was the one that got me started in quilting over 30 years ago ❤️ I appreciate you for noticing! 🤗🫶🏼😊
Hello and thank you for your question. 👋 I am not a pattern writer, but I can give you some tips. All of the pumpkins I made were many different sizes. I used what I had to make a basic rectangle shape. It was all very scrappy and improvisational. I hope you find the tutorial helpful. Happy sewing! 😁❤️🫶🏼
Hello and thank you for your question. My big mat is not for ironing, but I do have two small ones that are for cutting and ironing. Both of them are made by June Tailor. I hope this helps! 🧡💛🎃
