I plan to start my very first project tomorrow. I've been watching the videos and I actually love them! As a rule, I prefer the printed word. Too many video makers spend the first half of the video talking about every other thing but what the tutorial is about. I'm sure they're just trying to be friendly but tutorials for for learning. Some talk so fast that you have no clue what they just said and sort of gloss over a lot of things such as sizes, papers, types of glue and other little things are important to a beginner. These tutorials should be used as lessons on how to present tutorials. I even heard Meridith mention what brand of glue she used. To me, it's those little things that I find to be important. These tutorials are very clear, easy to understand, and every little thing is covered. I have no doubt that I will be doing every single one of them! Many thanks, Meridith. I a going to enjoy this new adventure.
I’m a newbie to Quilling and am so grateful for your videos! I’ve made so many from your videos and appreciate the step by step instructions. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. Awesome tutorials!
I love these sunflowers! Thank you so much for your instructional videos, i really appreciate it! I am new to paper quilling & you are just about the only person i have found that talks you through the steps & gives dimensions, lengths, etc.! You do beautiful work!!!
I just love this sunflower to the point of I'm making one now, it'll take me a while between work and having to wait for some papers. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
@@ThePaperyCraftery I've made one ? And yes they come together quickly, I love it. So many thanks for introducing them. Now for a question, do you have a tutorial for leaves for them ?
I am new to quilling. This was very time consuming as all quilling projects are, plus I am slow with the process.. I am learning a lot from you, so please keep on doing what you are doing!! TYSVM ¡!! My very first Sunflower 🌻 came out beautifully!!
Absolutely! I also have a bunch of leaf videos plus a brand new one coming scheduled to come out July 9 if anyone needs more inspiration! I have a whole playlist for flowers and plants and you can find that here 👉 ru-vid.com/group/PLzKBIFJkUl_PbWadV0DXU84KUQwsziow3
I just watched this video and earlier this morning the one you did for a Poinsettia. I love both videos. Your instructions are clear. Thank you for doing the videos.
Unless I mention something different, I prefer to use regular Elmer's white glue. I do have a video all about the different kinds of glue that I use and when 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cmfFUvu64Uw.html
I don't at the moment. I've found over the years that I really enjoy creating and teaching projects so that's where I spend the most of my crafting time.
I’m so glad the sunflower worked out so well for you! But I have to be honest, I am terrible at the vortex coil! I’ve been trying to get it right for a long time. Maybe one day 😂
I use Elmer's Glue All in my needle nose bottles for most projects, and Tacky Glue for more 3D quilling. For Tacky Glue, I dip my paper right in it, or apply the glue with a toothpick.
Tengo un tutorial de orquídeas en mi sitio web, pero todavía no he hecho un video. Estoy planeando hacer ese video en algún momento en los próximos meses.
I don’t use fringing scissors because they are pretty expensive. The scissors that I’m showing in the video belonged to my Nana many years ago. I think they’re just tiny scissors that came from a manicure kit!
