In this project my brother didn't show name of components, I'm telling you name of components he used. 12v relay, Transistor BC547, Diode 1N4007, Resistor 1k ohms and IR receiver, But I think it will not work because when you push the button in remote, the IR Receiver will receive the signal, it will turn ON the transistor. When the transistor will turn ON it will turn ON the Relay. Until here it's Ok. But when you leave the button in remote, the transistor and relay will OFF again. So I think this circuit is useless.
Like others have mentioned in the comments; I believe this project would need a microcontroller/chip in order to control the the lightbulb with a remote, as the circuit would need to know what particular button has been pressed and what to do when it is pressed (i.e. off/on).

This will not work as seen in the video...(1)the photo diode used here does not work from that distance as shown here ..you will have to bring the remote very near (2) it is not a latchin circuit for relay..so the transistors(bc547) will become off as soon as the infrared source is removed..... hope it may helo you
I Am trying to come up with a Project to link between a Car audio kit to a land line phone. so i can do "in calls" and "out calls" with bluetooth when i am home. please help me :'(
main idea is to use land line phone as blutooth extension. My opinion is that the easiest way is to connect car bluetooth kit to a land line phone. If you have better idea i willl be happy
