Hello Amazing Crafters!
I bought this Mold for a customized frame as a gift this Christmas. I also bought a new brand of resin called "Trendy Resin" for this project because it has great reviews saying it is very clear and less microbubbles hmm let's see.....
I hope you guys enjoy this video. If you have any queries and request you can always ping me.

R E M I N D E R S:
Work in a well-ventilated space while wearing protective goggles and nitrile gloves. You may also require a respiratory mask depending on the nature of the fumes. I have a question. If you would have put the picture facing the other way, wouldn't your words then have been backwards?? Or is the paper you printed the words sticky on both sides?? I didn't even think to use sticky paper to do words and stuff to keep them from floating. I'm still new to resin making and I'm getting frustrated using pictures because it seems to always mess up. Yours came out so perfectly beautiful!!

Hi Meghan, thanks for stopping by. The sticker I used for the words doesn't stick to both sides, if you want to put the picture facing the back then just put your words after demolding your piece, turn it over and stick your words then add a small amount of resin on the top of your piece (Dome). I still have many mistakes in making resin art but the important thing is that we learn something from every mistake. I hope this will help. 😊

Beautiful work. It seems the need of the first 3 layers of resin is to make the gold leaf and the picture at different depth. But why is the need to pour 2 times after the photo? Can we combine the 4th and 5th layer in 1 pour? Thanks

Very pretty! Question though. When you use the heat gun, to pop the bubbles in the resin, wouldn’t the quick movement of the resin, cause more bubbles?

Your work is Beautiful even tho you didn't flip the photo, I think it looks better this way. Did you put some kind of sealer on the photo before laying it on the resin? I notice no bubbles appeared once you laid the photo on the resin and put another layer of resin down. Great Job Thanks for sharing

Which company resin you have used? It is so clear and glossy.. do you get bubbles while doing work? Are you just using heat gun to avoid it??

Hi Nimisha, The brand of my resin is called Trendy Resin. Yes, I also get bubbles too😅 especially when the weather is cold. What I do is I soak the resin and hardener in hot water for about five minutes before I mix them this helps to get rid of the bubbles.

This is the best video on including photos into resin medium. Thank you very much. My photo faded , another did not. It is very confusing. I tried to use nail polish ( clear) to seal the photo. It entirely messed up the image. Finally I used a wide scotch tape but it showed lines :( I am yet to try modge podge

Hello I have a question on the 1st and 2nd layer. Do I let the 1st layer dry than add the 2nd layer?? Or do both layers cure together? I attempted to try making the frame but after pouring the fist and 2nd layer the frame was tacky and didn't cure right. I hope to hear from you. I would appreciate it. Thank you.🙋‍♀️

Hi Arlene, actually the first layer and 2nd layer are mixed at the same time but in a separate cup because I don't have a bigger cup. Yes, both layers cure together. There are many reasons why resin doesn't cure properly. Make sure you follow the instructions of your resin and the weight is correct before mixing part A and B. I hope this helps 🙂

Hi Tennisha thanks for visiting. My answer goes like this 🙂 1. I always cover my work to protect from any dust or debris while I wait for it to harden. The lid I used was a regular plastic container that was no longer in use. 2. Are you referring to the mold I used? If so, this mold is made of silicone used for resin art. I hope I answered your questions 🙂

Hi Monika, Hi Monika, I only use natural light in all my videos because my workplace is outdoors and for shooting I use a 360-degree adjustable phone holder that will allow you to conveniently place your mobile phone or tablet at the perfect distance and angle, and view it conveniently. 🙂

What is the ratio of resin and hardner?

I believe she used a 2:1 resin, which is 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener; but to be sure, rewatch the video and it states what the ratio is when she is first mixing her resin. I hope that helps. Much love from Brisbane, Australia.
