Why did you say you know it’s coming years later? Everyone knows that, the date is on your comment. Nobody cares your comment came later, it doesn’t matter. It’s a nice comment, no need to say it’s coming years later
Hi I'm trying the same cooker. I'm getting some wire burnt smell when I plug it..in same socket i use another cooker n it works fine..is that smell common in the beginning or it is a damaged piece?
@@luizlopez737 Another reviewer said it takes 12 minutes for 2 cups of white rice when the water is added to the line marked on the pot. Brown rice took about 45 minutes with the water level set slightly over the 2 cup line.
Please note that aged rice enhances and intensifies its taste and cooking characteristics. It is recommended to use aged rice. You can do the same by storing rice for a year and using it next season. However note that Old rice does absorb more water than fresh rice, because it has dried to a lower moisture content so you may have to use more water.
Thanks, but inner pot shouldn't be crooked. Did you dropped it or it could be a manufacturing defect. If it resulting in uneven cooking , please get it replaced. Do not use the Inner Pot or Lid if dented, bent, or damaged
The 10 cup Oster rice cooker I have has a round spring loaded button in the center of the heating element which I believe is a type of safety device which when the inner pot is removed it stops the electric going to the heating element to prevent fire hazards.
@@NorthIndianFlavors I'm using 2 of the inuded measurement cups and filling to the 2 line which also is the line of my first knuckle in my middle finger (top of the rice)
I believe your issue is the rice age. Generally it happens if the rice is not aged. If you don't have aged rice then keep rice in stock and use it after a year. Not sure about rice quality , so try using 1.75 cups of water against 2 cups of rice. Another small tip , please make sure to wash the rice thoroughly , it will help to fix mushy rice.
So I'm using the steamer and the rice cooker to steam my broccoli I was wondering , when I flip the the button down do I just leave it alone and let it does its job?
Yes, just flip the button and let it do it job. Once it is done button will come automatically and will be set to warm. For rice let it rest for 5 minutes once it is cooked. Hope it helps.
