@@Noaiaiaiaia Ohhh, I see what happened. Let me explain. Handle1diff is one of the accessories textures, possibly. Find the texture pic that has the greatest number, for example: + If you see handle1diff, handle2diff, handle3diff; then the handle3diff is the "tex.png" on the video. If not, go through all the pics and if a pic has at least a roblox face printed into it, then it is the "tex.png" on the video. i hope you understand lol

how do I even get paintrig??? (yes when I downloaded paintrig it didn't work, basically it opened notepad with some weird a** coding.) and I don't even have discord, so that means I can't ask questions? (okay maybe I'm a little wrong on that one) "Oh let's assume that everyone uses discord! and that everyone is old enough for it, oh! and that their parents aren't strict!" Sorry for the hate man, but seriously I'm so confused, I got further in a video with someone who could barely talk correctly with freakin' subtitles.

@Collier Head you have to make sure when you made the model you grouped all the hats together by using ctrl when selecting them

U need to save the character, then go inside the character’s explorer then hold ctrl and select all the hats in the model, then save it

@@Walkemdowntoheel So kinda, make sure the model you are extracting is named something different from any others you had extracted before, and then select the model and right click to select the select children option or something like that, then extract the children of the model and you should have a texture in your folder.

it is going to create a obj file, mbl file, and a png file, because it think that you are importing the character model and the texture but i would look again because i get the same thing

@@Walkemdowntoheel When you right click on a model it should say "Select Children" on the pop-up, click that and you should be able to get the texture from that. Well, its been working for me at least.

You Import not Export, also check the circle you picked and if you have the texture go on the Hat and open it on it.

Click on your hats > Go to material properties > Click on the "-" button until everything is gone > Then click on "New" > Then choose image texture > Scroll down till you find "Open" > then click on what ever you saved your hats as (it has to be png)

Download the Paintrig.3 in the description and open it in blender.

facts

There's this viewpoint thing on the left corner, has the letters xyz with x being red, y being green, and z being blue, you can drag that around to get a better viewpoint of your character.

also you can click your middle mouse and drag

also thats just for the viewpoint, I don't know the movement key

It's alright, I dont prefer it over cycles in terms of quality in post-production. Helps to use cycles especially when making high quality thumbnails or icons which this tutorial is based on.

can you just use eevee while modelling and such and then switch to cycles? it seems like with eevee you trade quality for speed which isnt a very good trade off in this case

@@EaTStu use eevee, it's a good real-time engine and works perfectly for low spec machines. it looks good enough as my thumbs show because overly flashy and shiny shit is bad.

I cannot add a camera, the camera word is just gray and unuseable how to fix

@@peely6360 Have you tried the two main ways of adding a camera? You can locate the Add button on the bar next to Object Mode and add the camera there or pressing Shift+A and clicking Camera. If you find trouble with those however, you could try pressing F3 (or Space bar, depends on what you have the function set to) to open up a searcher and typing in Add Camera. I haven't tried this last method but it could work!
