When traveling to another state I found a store where they sold frozen burek made with homemade dough and bought a pan of meat and a pan of cheese and ate both by myself. I literally ate burek for breakfast lunch and dinner for three days. Totally worth the five pounds I gained 😂
I would like to see all the fillings: cabbage, meat, cheese, even apples and fruits. Thank you! Love this, this is how my grandmother used to make pita
I love that your explain why you use the ingredients that you do. Growing up I would always ask my mom and she’s so old school she would just say it’s because that’s how she learned lol.
I really like your technique! It combines the "burek majstor" technique that you can see in burek shops but it's adapted to a home cook so you don't need to know that crazy flip they do when they stretch the dough! Can I just ask what's the weight of the dough balls that you work with when you make 1 swirl of pita? Thank you again!
not freezing. If I'm in a rush I'll refrigerant it until the next day. but frozen no. You can always make the pita and freeze it. When it comes time to bake just let it sit at room temp.
