He's composing his stamps using movable types,---like the ones used for letterpress printing---to create the mold for vulcanising the rubber. The problem here is he cant do logos or illustrations, in order to do that you would need to create a film negative from computers and use that for acid etching of zinc/magnesium plates to create a relief dies, the dies is then compressed onto a bakelite sheet to create a recessed mold for vulcanise rubber. That is a very complicate and extremely expensive process but the quality of the stamps would be excellent and unmatched by other types. Laser engraving is currently the most competent, economical and time saving method and involves no complicated process but most laserable rubbers are made from synthetic materials and are inferior in quality compared to vulcanised rubbers.

How much he charges customer for that rectangular size of rubber stamp.?In Malaysia, we charge around US dollars 4.5 for that size.
