My personal thought was that the pasta should have been cooked earlier and timed to be finished when the tomatoes were taken out. It appears that everything got overcooked/overdone, as a result. Wonderful looking recipe, Vincenzo.

This is my perfect meal. There is nothing here I don't absolutely love! Scallops often get overlooked when it comes to seafood dishes and that's probably because they are so easy to overcook but done right, they are perfect vessels of sweet, slightly briny flavor. When cooked properly, they have a firm bite that yields instantly to a tender, silky middle. I might be tempted to use shells, cavatelli, or even orecchiette to get the pasta and scallops in the same bite, but the tagliatelle is more beautiful. Edit: I have everything I need to make this in my kitchen right now. I'm making it tonight!

It is my pleasure. I'm just using my stainless steel pan I bought at the supermarket. You can check your at the cooking aisle, if there are stainless steel pans over there.

She never enjoyed when either of us made scallops but she really enjoyed it in this dish!!! I did everything you said except use the Chili's, because I cannot eat hot pepper anymore, unfortunately, but I could just imagine how nice the Chili's would add to the flavour. But my husband said this is a regular recipe that we will definitely be eating. Grazie tanti!!
