I went to Europe in 2022 (with family, visited four countries for a whole month, applied to Switzerland because we were staying there the longest (8 days)). In your cover letter, if you are going with family, mention there names and passport numbers and relationship to you as well. Even if you don't write a 3 page long cover letter, it is fine. But clearly show a day by day itinerary and places of stay and how you will travel internally We showed return flight tickets from India (India to Paris, and return from Athens to India), 5 hotel bookings, 2 Airbnb bookings, Swiss half-fare card, internal railway tickets (eg, Paris to Zurich, Zurich to Milan), one ferry ticket, one internal flight. Everything as if we had already been granted the visa.

Hello Ankit, I just watched your video how to make a Schengen Visa. It's very informative, I want to visit Europe (starting point is France) with my wife and we have just received a rejection letter. My tour date is 10 th May to 22 th May. This is a group tour arranged by a tour agency. We both got the same rejection reason is 'The information submitted........ not reliable' I don't understand what to do, I want to reapply next week. Below are my doubts. 1)In our NOC letter, we have mentioned our leaves one before and one after the tour (9 and 23) and tour dates and places, shall we need to mention only travel dates? 2) Out of 5.2L balance, I hv taken 4L from my SBI Maxgain account where I parked this surplus amount to save the interest just 10 days before the appointment and only mentioned that I transferred it from my another account, I didn't provide max gain account details becz that statement shows negative amount (i.e your remaining loan amount) should I need to submit that account statement also. 3) I had done a sale deed last week, I have not submitted that DD in my account till date. Shall I need to submit it and should I attach an agreement copy, as amount is big. 4) what should I write in my covering letter 5)Most important,should we trust on VFS employees? Your help in this regard is highly appreciated. Thank you

Hello Ankit, I have a few questions regarding Schengen VISA before applying. (1) I am currently employed but retiring on 30th April. My travel date starts from 10thMayy. How should I declare myself as employed or retire ? (2) We are a group of 5 friends traveling together in Austria and Italy. 3 are coming from the US, myself and my husband joining from India. Therefore one of our friends has booked the internal travel tickets and hotel bookings. So should I show the friend a sponsor? (3)Since I am in a transferable job, the address in my Passport and my current address are different. We are both(me and my husband) senior retd govt officer and Public Sector executive and are frequent travelers. Would appreciate an early reply based on your judgement. Thank you.
