Ik this is a late reply but if u and ur friend is near at each other u can connect to thei hotspot and press multiplayer and then select the world u want ur friend to play on and there it is! Ur friend have to press on local and ur world will appear and boom there it is u now have a terraris multiplayer expirience.
I tried this but my friend does move from my perspective and I also don't move from his perspective even tho he is in the server. we did all the steps right.
@@john3580 connect both from the VPN then be the host or ur friend... It maybe in the option why you cant join. My friend joined in an instant tbh. No Problem at all
