@@bravelionheart6572 At the beginning (00:30 sec onwards) the transformer is being tested using a series bulb having a naked set of wires, using bare hands holding naked wires - it's an absolute safety hazard. A standard digital / analog multimeter can easily be used to check the transformer. Secondly, using a 2200 uf capacitor is not suitable for charging lead acid batteries, you may use 220 / 330 uf capacitor. Lower value capacitance does not filter the ac line noise, which is vital to properly charge a lead acid battery. Noise filtration is a must for audio / video projects, but not required for lead acid battery chargers. However, filtration has no such effect on Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries.
