In this video, we will learn how to make a simple bracelet using the 3-wire braid technique combine with sparkling crystals. The difference from other bracelets is the flower clasp
3-wire braid is a very basic technique. This technique is very flexible with many variations. Just by changing the way you combine the bead, number of wires you have a lot of different products.
Have you tried this bead combination, it's also very interesting.
You can use any wire size, any beads ( have hole ) you have
Large diameter wire will be more difficult to manipulate, but will increase the rigidity of the product
materials I used :
beads : 4mm ( abacus crystal)
Soft copper wire
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 6 strands, each strand is 20cm ( 8 inch)
flower clasp : 10cm ( 4 inch)
I use 3 basic Pliers: Round Nose Pliers (yellow), Flat Nose Pliers, no cog ( blue), Cutting Pliers (red).
You can use the same technique to make rings, or earrings. Or combine with other techniques to create your own products
