Recently, I ditched the burger press and tried out the Hamburger Trowel by Dexter Russell, and I'll never go back to the press!
Not only does the Trowel smash a burger, it flips, scrapes, cleans, and chops. A trowel is lightweight, multi-purpose, and much easier to use than a press.
