This Video is showing how to make bar soap for business with simple measurements. Making soap is fun and can be another source of income for stay at home moms, students or even anyone who wants other sources of income.
Water:5liters
Caustic Soda-1kg
6liters bleached palm oil
1/4 liter sulphonic acid.(1/2 of half a liter)
For those who don’t have scale:
1 cup of Caustic soda = 4cups of water
Oil 5cups oil.
Now u can multiply this to any quantity you want.

@@user-gl6sy7vh9x you have two ways : chemical way is by using hydrogen peroxide n sulphonic acid on in 1%. ( 10 mls for every one liter of oil) your first put sulphonic acid mix will for about 5minutes before u add you hydrogen peroxide.Let it rest for about 20hours before use. Or u can use firewood put ur oil in the pot n let it cook until u can send a white paper inside n it comes out clear.

@@nhyirabakiki724-i3p you are suppose to mix your soap well. Sides, middle, stir well under your soap looks creamy n thick. So just try it again but in a little quantity and right measurements so that u don get a batch.

You can buy cheaper oils like tallow and mix it up with palm oil and use fillers like calcium carbonate and soda ash to increase the volume of ur soap for more profits

1 week is good enough n u can start selling / using it. The longer your soap cures, the better and long lasting it becomes.

Any oil can be used but for commercial purposes olive is rather expensive, if u can pay your hands on palm kennel oil or beef tallow, it will be preferable

@@bettyabudu4664 for me, I add just my sulphonic Acid or foaming booster, just to enhance the cleaning properties of my soaps and I make a decent profit. But if u want extra profit for soap making u can use fillers like sodium carbonate and is shouldn’t exceed 30%( meaning if u are using 10liters of oil, your sodium carbonate should be 20-30% of sodium carbonate. It helps increase the volume soap and weight.

I did semi hot process, so my lye was mix same time n immediately after my bleached palm oil was added in its semi solid state. I did add any color to my oils.

20-25% is enough that’s if u are using 10 liters of oil, 25grams , you can either mix it with oil or u mix it with water( 2.5 liters of water.

Nothing will spoil dear, sulphonic is just to boost the cleansing and foaming power, but with just you palm oil or palm kennel oil, your soap will still later well.

I gave dear, 5 liters of water =1kg of Caustic Soda and 6 liters of oil. Sulphonic acid is 1/2 of half liters If I don’t have a scale, one cup of caustic soda - 4 cups of water. 2 cups of Caustic soda equals 3cups of water

No protection for anyone even children passing by, so dangerous. You can get burned so badly!!! Please use PPE! Gloves, eye protection, clothes to cover your skin and shoes/socks that cover your feet! You should be telling this to others as well so they stay safe also!!!!!! For my laundry soap I don’t use soda ash, if I must add any fillers, it will either be calcium carbonate or kaolin Clay and it’s at 20-25 percent. So if u r using 10liters of oil then ur soda/ calcium carbonate should be at 25grams
