Here we show you how to make nanoparticle loaded sodium alginate beads. Take 1g of sodium alginate in 100 ml water and mix well. Prepare a solution of CaCl2 in water (1 g CaCl2 in 100 ml water). Using a dropper add the sodium alginate gel dropwise in the CaCl2 solution. Filter the beads and use them as you want.

Sodium alginate powder when mixed with water forms a gel. Then you add the gel using dropper to a calcium chloride solution. CaCl2 hardens the gel and stable beads are formed. If you want to load a drug, add the required quantity of drug in sodium alginate solution and mix well. Then you can make the bead of drug loaded soldium alginate.
