How to make Speaker Protector Circuit with DC Protection - Speaker protector diagram 

If your power amp fails and dumps the DC voltage on the rails to your speakers it will NOT protect them. You can tell by the schematic at the beginning of the video. It shows the speakers negative connection going straight to ground. In order to protect your speakers the speaker's ground needs to be connected to the NC contacts of the relay. All this circuit is good for is eliminating turn ON/OFF thumps.
