How to make steel beautiful using only heat.  

Awesome video. I’ve been playing around with heat colours, but I had no idea how to control them or what the order was for how the colours change. These are great tips! I already found doing it after deformed the harp and so I’ve done it to the frame beforehand, but then you need to be pretty careful about tool marks when crimping and adjusting. I’ve started doing it to the reed only since it’s easier to preserve the finish if the harp needs tweaking. Once again, great video!

I like to do this stuff under brass pieces, and consistent colors with oil quench.

I have a question; I never played a jaw harp before and I really want to try it. But my front teeth are uneven, one sits quite more in front than the other, lower teeth are even. Would this be a problem? Wondering if I should get a dan moi instead. Thank you.
