Happy Saturday lovelies!
Apologies for the delay with this weeks video! This weeks video is showing you how you can create sticker sheets using Canva and the Cricut Design Space. It is another way to make stickers without having digital design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Procreate.

Hi Chloé, thanks for your video. I don't understand why you duplicate the background several times ? And at what point do you tell the machine where to cut ? Is it going to cut along your stickers automatically ? Also what are the details of your kisscut cutting settings? Also it'd be great if you could include the final product in your next videos so we can see the result ! Thanks a lot !

Hi Julie, thank you for watching. I duplicate the background as I want the machine to cut all the way through the sticker paper and backing sheet. If I was to do one pass it would not separate from the back. Yes it will along both the stickers and the background I have created. It varies depending on the sticker paper you use I would advise using vinyl- for vinyl matte sticker paper. I shall keep it in mind for the updated version.

It’s a hack so you can do a kiss cut and a die cut and the backing sheets cur right found I do 5 copies then centre align , so just duplicate 5 times this gives the die cut out

Do you have any idea why the contour feature in Design Space will not activate when I’m making diecut stickers? They end up with tiny holes where there’s a cutout that I try to “contour” out. Any help will be appreciated. Thx!

I’m not too sure why this is the case. Instead I make sure I create a background for all the stickers so that thus does not happen. You can do this in Canva and Procreate.

hello! I love how you create your stickers!! is it really legal if you use free elements and free fonts as stickers and sell it online? Im so confused about their licensing :((

Hey, thank you! ☺️ It all depends on the licensing I personally have Canva Premium which gives you more details on this. If you are looking at using Canva check out their licensing page it gives a lot of detail and should help you. As far as I know you can use elements to create the stickers but can’t use any of their presets that you see. I hope this helps you or at least points you in the right direction

i have tried to duplicate my back ground but when i try to highlight them to align them, the align tab is gray and I cannot select it no matter what i do.

Thank you for your feedback. I have another video where you can see how the stickers turned out. I may also do another video that focuses more on the cutting and finished look.

I am unable to adjust the height, only the corners. I found a different element that would allow it.

Have you checked to see if you have the measurements locked ? There is a lock 🔒 that you can press to undone and allow you to adjust the height.

So we are able to use the canva pro free and paid images if we alter them a bit to sell on etsy?

As long as your not using their pre created templates with no edits you can and check that the image your using individual as some may not be for commercial use. You can check this using the information button that pops up
