Ingredients:
500g fresh clams
2 tbsp tamarind paste
1 cup holy basil leaves
3 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 red chili peppers, sliced
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions:
Rinse and scrub the clams thoroughly.
Heat the cooking oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and sliced chili peppers, stir-fry until fragrant.
Toss in the clams and stir fry until they start to open.
Add tamarind paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine.
Finally, add the holy basil leaves and stir fry until the clams are fully cooked and the basil is wilted.
