This was wonderful.! You demonstrated so many easy ways to make stitch markers, including some using materials I never would have thought of using. Thank you so much.
Very nice sheep charms ! Wow ! You sure have great tools ! Your makers and progress keepers are just like jewels, sophisticated ! I use nude bulb pins in various colors, nothing fancy, but it still works. Thanks for this added beauty. 🙏
Thank you so much for this!! It was informative and entertaining!! I was really looking forward to this one and you did not disappoint! I really feel like we're just friends sitting and talking.
Thanks for the insightful tutorial on how to make stitch markers. I've always wanted to make some stitch markers because they are rather expensive to buy. I received one stitch marker part of a gift that included yarn and a project bag, and I inadvertently misplaced it. I try to find it but was not successful thus far. I will go to Michael's one of these days when the Covid surge is more under control and buy some of the things needed to make stitch markers. Thanks for sharing! Take good care, happy crafting/knitting, and stay safe!
We are glad that this tutorial was helpful. It is so much fun making your own stitch markers. There are so many charms to choose from. Take Care, Colleen and May
Great tutorial Colleen, thank you ! It's easy enough but also fiddley enough for me to leave it to the "pros" and I will buy from them. :) I might try a few though at some point. I am concerned that I would not get the jump ring proper and it would catch on my knitting. I never thought before about having smooth needle nose pliers so not to leave a mark. I have some and they have ridges and when I do use them for other things that happens. Guess I will be buying a couple of new ones to have just in case.
Great tutorial! I want to make the ring markers with the single bead. How do you determine what size of ring you need for the diameter of the knitting needle you will be using? Hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance!
