That looks amazing! That’s the way I make mine! But I beat the potato’s and rinse the beaters about five or six times to get the strings out of the potatoes. Thank you for sharing! Since I am the only one who eats sweet potatoes, I make two small ones. Sometimes I have covered half with the nut mixture and the other have with marshmallows. Best of both worlds in every bite. LOL

This is way too sweet for us, but this is good too. Equal portions of sweet potatoes, carrots and turnip, cook and mash together, add butter and a tsp of brown sugar and pour into a Casserole dish and bake for 30 min.

The name suggests it is a main dish but the ingredients sounds like dessert. Looks yummy.

That looks amazing we make something similar to this oh my yes it's a hit. This year I didn't do it it was only two of us we ate so simple I think I'm going to have to make this add to Turkey leftovers or something. Pecan pecans yes yes yes

Omg, this is so similar to my recipe. In addition to the pecan layer, I add 1 bag of marshmallows to the top that’s mixed with with 1 tsp.cinnamon, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 cup of finely ground pecans. Broil the top if necessary to get an extra layer of crunch. Thanks for sharing Christa ❤️

I can't eat anything solid so I didn't make it because I love pecans. Do you think if I mush the pecans to a powder substance I'd still be able to taste the pecans. Also how would I mush them up to a powder consistency if you may know. I could litetally smell it, Yumm..

My husband and I make the same exact thing...except we use walnuts instead of pecans...but, it's so yummy!! One of my favorite dishes for Thanksgiving!!

Looks yummy. Is it a dessert or do you serve it as side...with what? Thanks. We roast or mash sweet potato or sweet potato fries, never tried it with sugar.
