You're a lifesaver.❤ It was driving me and my husband crazy having to see ads for inappropriate shows while trying to switch to the PS5 to use RU-vid for my toddler
This was a great fix, thank you - I use Roku for all of my TV's but this TCL came with the Google interface but it was driving me crazy to have to switch it everytime I powered on the TV
This didn't really solve the problem. Google doesn't allow the selection of a specific source to go to when powering on. If you use any other input source you must switch back to the one you want before turning off. For example, if you want the TV to always start on HDMI 1, but you also watch other input sources, you must switch back to HDMI 1 before you turn it off or the next time you turn it on, it will go to the last input used, NOT HDMI 1. Roku appears to be the only one that will allow you to designate the input to power on instead of last input used. Google really should fix this to stay up with Roku.
Hey man i saw you help people i thought you might be able to help me out with this thing , i turned this option on and its working , the problem is that its turning my ps5 on every time I turn on my tv… would appreciate help very much thanks man 🙏
weemengng398 Bro, Disable Netflix autoplay in "Account" > "Playback Settings" to prevent automatic streaming on startup. Hopefully, this will solve your issue.☺️
Hi, couldn't find the Netflix autoplay setting. There is no option to make hdmi the default input on my tcl homepage. You can only choose homepage or last input channel when powering on. So if I want hdmi to be the input when I next switch it on, I need to switch to hdmi when I switch off. If I am on the homepage before I switched off, when I next switch on, it will go to homepage as that was my last input. Thanks for your assistance.
