Hey everybody! This is my short from my first video using Ableton Live, serum and other cool sample packs. I show you how to make tearout dubstep or metal step or deathstep, whatever you wanna call it this is the highest energy EDM! :) I chose to resample and process heavily for a loud sound!

that is a phone filter, or a band pass on an eq or filter. So basically only let the mid frequencies play out right before the drop plays. so we tease only a little bit of the frequencies. cut the lows and highs.

If you chose the D note for the sub layer , how to you make the others sounds in Key? i see theyre F?

I click the audio file and warp in complex, then use the transposition knob to change the pitch to the correct note

no problem dude that note is actually the sub that is in midi the rest are audio samples, serum is controlling the sub and is there so we can edit it if needed
