Good job ABTabi If you only want a temperature sensor and not a thermometer you can substitute the 10k thermistor with an ordinary 10k resistor and use the transistor (BC547) as the temperature sensor: as the temperature increases the required base voltage lowers and the transistor will turn on.

Great vid , I built same circuit mine comes on with body heat from my finger and thumb , maybe my thermistor is more sensitive , it’s good fun , my partner as really cold hands and the led will not light lol ....

What's temperature is needed to light the led ON ? Does replacing the constant resistor with potentiometer can adjust that ?

I built this sensor once and it worked fine, but when I built it again I had to reverse the polarity of the battery and the light started on and dimmed off when I increased the temperature. The transistor connections and everything are the same... what could be causing this?

Had same problem. I flipped the led around and same with battery and now it works as it does in the video
