Ok, nice video but the mixing of the fruit and vegetables .....did you stick all of them in a regular blender , or how? 7:22 * Also, you say it has garlic as well ?
Thank you for charing and the inspiration but I think you are adding a little bit to much of the red pigments in your eggfood. It is not very good for the birds liver. I would only give it during breeding season and during moulting because the feathers only absort the red piments when (new) feathers are formed (it wil save you a bit of money to give non colored eggfood in the resting period). Good to see you are using CéDé eggfood (I am using it for years now, birds are doing great on it), there is also CéDé for red factor canaries by the way.
When you first started the video, the veggies before blending were broccoli, apple and carrots..... where does the garlic come in? Thank you..... great video!
I just mash up hard boill eggs, add chopped carrots, corn, brocoli etc. I never add the commercial egg food or vitamins / powder. The birds are all very healthy. I do also feed sprouted seeds.
Thank you so much l was looking for way to make egg food for my beloved canary i used to just boil an egg cut it to pieces and put it for him to eat but he doesn't eat much of it and the majority just go to wast I started this video thinking that the ingredients are things I won't be able to get, i never saw egg food for sale in birds stores in my country they just say boil an egg and give to the bird, we don't have broccoli either, i wander if there is something else i can replace it with, but the thing that really suprised me is the couscous!! i wasn't expecting it at all i wish knew a Canary can eat couscous i never heard of that it's our national dish in Algeria we cook it at least one time a week i should've knew i could give it to my bird no one ever told Anyway i think i can get the vitamins from the bird store but what's that colouring thing is it necessary? My canary is just normal yellow
Hi, thanks for the great video. I have a red factor canary. Can I give this to her all year around? Should I give it to her every day? What do you recommend
I have a few Gloster Canaries in which they seem to gather feces on their back end it dries up and then I have to use warm water to clean that area up or they would probably end up with an infection or etc. Is there i something I need to add to their diet or is there something I should not be feeding them?
