You would think that making candy/toffee/chocolate would be the hardest thing to clean up, but it's by far the easiest, it either all sticks to itself or is water soluble, lol! I made PB fudge, chocolate fudge and chocolate coated PB fudge last night and the hardest thing to clean was the PB from the measuring cup, lol! I make the Sri Lankan version of this with cardomon. I always have trouble figuring out when to take it off the heat to get the right consistency of the toffee. So I love the water trick that you used. I'm gonna use that next time.... THANKS!!!! ☺️☺️☺️

Sweet sis, i love the way you did it. But please if i may ask, is it the nutmeg that prevents it from hardening when cutting them into shapes? Do you cover the toffee before cutting them, thus after removing it from fire? Reason being that whenever i remove it from the fire before cutting after sometime it begins to harden even before i finish cutting them. I will be glad if i could answers to these. Thanks
