Now this next part is a bit more diffcult 15. you must travel through the long plains of the public market and find the butter of peanuts and the preserved fruit 16. spread the two ingredient onto your bread slices and put them together And that's how you make a simple PB&J.

Here are the advantages I've found to each style: Matt's way - As he says, if you want to have equal proportions of peanut butter and jam/jelly, this is the best way to do it. It also allows you to stir the two ingredients together a little, whi*ch makes for a nice texture. And last of all, it removes the chance of you making a mess when you flip over one of the slices of bread in your sandwich. Whitney's way - This is the most intuitive way of doing things, so you will likely do this by nature - thus, you will develop the greatest skill and dexterity with this style. Also, you can ensure that every square centimetre on both slices of bread is covered. Jason's way - If you are packing out a PBJ, this is the way to do it (well, one of two ways, but we can get back to that). If you are going to make and eat a PBJ in only moments, then there's nothing wrong with having peanut butter on one side and jam on the other. But if you will be carrying it for a picnic or for lunch at work, you will want peanut butter on both slices of bread so that the bread doesn't get soggy and the jam losing some of its flavour. This is good protection against that. It's also good for people who like having more peanut butter in their sandwich. Mallory's way - Who doesn't love toast? ...Well, ok, a lot of people. But if you have the opportunity, toasting the bread gives it a nice texture. First you get the items needed (Peanut butter, Any type of the jelly you want, two slices of bread, and two knives) Then you put peanut butter on one of the slices of bread with the first knife. Next you take the second knife and spread Jelly on the second slice of bread. Stop kidding yourself Studio C. Everyone knows the actual way to make the perfect PB&J sandwich is: 1. Lightly toast 2 slices of bread until browned. 2. Spread smooth peanut-butter on one of the slices while holding it parallel to the table, but not on it. 3. Take grape jelly and blend it until it achieves a more fluid-like consistency. 4. Spread the jelly on the other slice of bread upon the plate you're going to serve the sandwich upon. 5.Set both slices on the plate, and take a non-toasted slice of bread out and cut off the crust. 6. On one side of the non-toasted bread, apply spreadable butter sparingly. 7. Place the buttered side of the non-toasted bread on top of the jelly coated slice of toasted bread. 8. Now you should have a bare side of non-toasted bread sticking up. Coat that side with a strawberry puree that has been sitting at room temperature. 9. Take the last slice of toasted bread and place it peanut-butter side down on top of the strawberry puree covered non-toasted crust-less bread. At this point there should be some space between the three slices of bread where you can see the fillings. 10. On the side where the peanut-butter and puree is exposed, take the crust you cut off from the non-toasted bread and line it around so you can no longer see the contents. 11. Crush up some unsalted peanuts in a food processor. 12. Carefully place the peanuts around the rim of space where the jelly and spreadable butter is located until completely covered. 13. By this time the jelly should have moistened the bottom slice of bread. Turn over the sandwich so the moist bread is on top. 14. Place sandwich on a new clean paper plate and eat with a giant wooden spoon. 15. Enjoy!
